This was very informative. I live in a city that doesn’t have any training facilities near by. We have some in our countries but they’re more than 45+ minutes away from me. I’ve been teaching my self traditional archery through KZread and several of your videos have helped me. Thank you.

Sir..if an archer wants to use a clicker, should he take a measurement of the full draw? Then cut the arrow according to the full draw result? Sorry, I just want to start using clicker, so I need to ask ..tq

So I am looking at getting into traditional archery. Been watching videos to learn before diving into a bow. Your videos are very informative. In this one you talk about how you set the bow differently between split fingers and 3 fingers below for your release technique. Could you do a video on how to set the bow up differently and the advantages and disadvantages of each? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I build fully bending longbows. Shoot off the knuckle. Never once had I thought to increase my brace height. Thanks!

nailed it. TU.. if you find the sweet spot on these two, you can shoot any arrow with high accuracy. nock point can be very difficult to set correctly and it makes the huge difference.

I’ve watched two videos where you suggest tuning brace height but you haven’t discussed how to change the brace height for tuning. I’m sure it has to do with string length but I’ve never seen it done.

Nice presentation, but it seems counter-intuitive. I would have thought the self bow would have benefited from a higher brace height to bring the angle of the arrow closer to the desired line of flight.

+Al Mollitor Yes , you are correct , however the limbs need to return as much as possible to achieve full potential of the stored energy, there is as with most things a balance point that needs to be found between the two .
