Ex East Yorkshire Motor Services 712 and Go North East 9045
As the title says, some rather tuneful kickdown - exactly how I like my B7TLs! Reminds me a lot of NXWM’s 4485, both worthy candidates for future preservation
It wasn’t easy to get kickdown out of any of the ones out that day but I’m glad 3357 was the one that did it, I’m not bothered about the others now I’ve had that lol
The 8 B7TL Geminis came over from East Yorkshire to Go North West are as follows:
696 (YX05 EOO) - 3351
702 (YX55 DHJ) - 3352
707 (YX55 DHO) - 3353
708 (YX06 CXJ) - 3354
709 (YX06 CXK) - 3355
711 (YX06 CXM) - 3356
712 (YX06 CXN) - 3357
713 (YX06 CXO) - 3358
I believe they are now driver trainers. They only lasted from April to September in passenger use, the allocation is now a mix of ex Go Ahead London B9TLs and ex RATP London United N230UDs
This bus was working Route 163: Bury Interchange (Stand B) - Manchester, Piccadilly Gardens (Stop A) via Heywood and Middleton
