Loved this interview! Tuff is an amazing human being. Hardworking, down to earth, speaks his truth and fights for what he believes in. Have been a fan of both Lanes and Tuffs since my Dad took me to the Red Bluff Rodeo in 1987. Was 7 years old but remember how cool I felt with the new cowboy hat, shirt, pants and boots he had bought me. Such a special memory!

When I was a teen I saw tuff hedeman land his plane drive a mile to the rodeo grounds and ride his bull. After his ride he signed autographs and took off in his plane to the next rodeo. He was a star then but was still humble to attend a small rodeo on the navajo reservation in Window Rock Arizona. The small landing strip for his airplane was close to the rodeo ground. Nice man.

I absolutely love this! I was a young from Montana now an old man that use to stay up all night watching the NFR because it was tape delayed on ESPN and couldn't wait to watch the bull riding. I was always cheering on Clint Branger. I learned a new respect for Tuff that I never knew. I was 40 years old and got to go to the NFR for the first time in my life, and got seats behind the bucking shoots. I was 5 seats away from Tuff and I think I was more excited about that than I was attending my first NFR. I went to Cowboy Christmas and made sure I got to meet Tuff and he was a great guy. All I wanted to do was ask him about Clint because I drank beer with Clint in Fishtail MT at the Cowboy bar. My cousin had become good friend with Clint and I thought that was so cool, got to hang with a NFR bull rider. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I could listen to it all day. Thanks!!!! After going to the NFR for the past 10 years I would just walk up to contestants and talk to them, my misses was always embarrassed but I said they are just guys like me and that was so true. I have had beers and bullshitted with a lot of NFR guys and they are all so nice.

Thank you for sharing this with us and tuff. I've tried to explain the time in the middle 80s and early 90s and hard. We are all the same. I knew lane tuff cody all those guys and it was fun when we got together. I haven't met anyone who knew lane then that is over his death still today. I'm surprised tuff got through that talk without crying. I was still crying like a baby and can't help it. Then in 2009 I believe to boys that my daughter rodeoed with lost their life coming home from a rodeo and cody and tuff and tye all helped all of us by having a rodeo in their name every year until 2020. In honor of them and the money goes to rodeo kids but anyway. Tuff and lane are still in my life in that since. So again thank you so much I can now share it from another's perspective.

From a an aspect of being a huge fan of Tuff, Lane, rodeo etc I was disappointed that there were so many questions that his fans would’ve probably loved to learn about that didn’t get asked. Maybe he set some ground rules on topics 🤷🏻‍♂️ Or maybe you saved those questions to bait us for the NEXT interview 🤔😉 Well done though thanks for bringing us a side of Tuff that his fans have maybe never seen before. 👏🏻
