I'm mostly into Rock and Indie and was introduced to musicianship by a rock & metal guitarist. The last guy I played with is a country and blues kind of player and I got 100 times better for whatever reasons after a couple of years with him. He reminded me that country music is king of story telling in songs. I think I'll forever get in the mood to listen to country sometimes for this reason. This video reminded me of this.
