My son used to ride horses with a kid named Lane (now 17, named after Frost) and our son, 16, is named Ty for Ty Herndon and Ty Murray. The only movie we ever watched in our camper at the county and state fairs was 8 seconds. Our son left the horse world for baseball but he misses it and his plan is to be a chiropractor that works with athletes in general and wants to be at rodeos to adjust the cowboys.
I'm from Pendleton and remember Luke coming to town but my aunt and Stapleman let them stay at their place
Bodacious was and forever will be first greatest most remembered but however BUSHWACKER over all is a much greater bull. Rest in peace to both legends
You God damn right. My grandpa was a bull rider and on his death bead he to my dad and brother don't let your sons be bull riders because them bulls are tougher and meaner when he was was bull rider but knowing that I still rode bulls for about two years
These men are made different. Total face reconstruction surgery 6 weeks later back on a bull. "Sorry i forgot your Tuff Hedeman"
u rock tuff
Nice words Jack calling tuff That.
Worst interview ever. This guy is a fuckstick. Love Tuff. A true legend. But the dummy talking to him should be strapped to Bodacious. This interviewer is a moron.
Ive said for years that bucking bulls with fully intact horns, should have those horns tipped and probably a soft material somehow glued or attached to the tips.
From what I understand, it wouldn’t have helped in Lane’s case. The horn didn’t puncture his skin, it was just the force and weight of the animal pushing against his ribs.
Hmm? Still looking fame. Sad
The pain in his voice and in eyes is heartbreaking 💔💔😭😭💔💔
Steve Earle : The Mountain Mercenary Song TVZ: Literally every single song he wrote
Yes, Steve, we know what acid means. Glad you can pronounce a big word.
Just when I think Steve can’t get cooler, he rocks a X t-shirt.
He is a great great songwriter. His voice is rough and uncut, not the best voice around, but very effective for the lyrics it projects. He is pure t. Kentucky, and you can not duplicate that.
Has Chris got melanoma or what is wrong with his arms.
This song is timeless classic..
really beautiful song....
Tuff, Lane and Cody were inseparable. Some of the best bull riding I’ve ever seen and three of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. I was a little girl with a huge crush. Lane was a bull riding God.
God bless u tuff! U are loved. Smile down on lane!!
That's a tough thing to talk about. You can tell it hurts him more than he even shows.
Rip brother lane frost
Please tell the drummer to stop
Start ur day the Sunny😊Sweeney way, foRMy SUNny SWEET ❤day❤😊
Kelly is a national treasure. So talented. And... that voice... Great episode!
I will search for the book. He's as honest a man as has ever been interviewed. No game player. That's why he is loved by many.
I understand his pain from my own 1st hand experience with losing a loved one. It’s hard to find the words to speak on it, never ending pain and traumatic to relive it. God Bless you Champ and RIP young King
Wanna talk about gender equality does she? I have an email to prove that my former band almost lost a gig opening for sunny because she quote “doesn’t like female vocalist to open for her”!? Because she doesn’t want to have to follow real talent? Is that why? Her camp for the most part was cool. She however was a diva and we were literally playing at a dive bar in the middle of Kentucky.
You can see it still hurts tuff. He was all jokes and all that before he started to talk about lane. His attitude and emotions change real fast when he spoke about lane.
I was 1 year old...my dad still talks about Lane when we are hauling through Cheyenne on the interstate to South Dakota where we are from. My dad was there...he said the same thing...everyone knew something wasnt right when he asked for help. He fell over with his cowboy hat and boots on. REAL FUCKIN COWBOY!
I'm glad Tuff didn't ride him again. He probably would have joined his best friend Lane Frost in Heaven.
I worked at Lucky Dog when “Hey You” came out. The radio promotions department was just a couple of interns. They definitely didn’t work it the way they were working the more-established artists albums. It’s unfortunate because, It’s still one of my favorite albums of all time and still remember the live shows at Exit/Inn and screaming “Barbie Doll” at the top of our lungs. What a great album!
SE needs to hear the song I wrote- “Earle would have married me, at least once “
Bo was a monster specimen that will never be replicated. He was pretty docile outside of arena.
*Lane Was A Legend*
Look to me as an outsider like he’s bucking you up with his ass end, and while his rear hooves are still in the air throw his front end up into your face. Other bulls do the same movement but they’re a step slower and wait for the back end to land before they Buck again. There’s nowhere for you to go because gravity isn’t your friend.
Smart man he got lucky the first time if he would've hit his face instead of his shoulder on that second lick the first time he would've killed tuff even that fist ride was lucky being hard headed will get ya killed
Steve sportin an X t-shirt ❤
Hey Steve why not cover some Richard Dobson tunes...
Let's go boys, Lane Frost..
RIP Lane Frost ❤❤❤❤ 😇😇😇😇 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I met tuff a few years ago at Cheyenne frontier days
Del Rio
I saw his last ride, it was my first Cheyenne Frontier Days. I had just moved to Wyoming, 3 months prior. They didn't tell the audience that he was deceased. It came out in the news later. It's too bad his marriage was in shambles. I wish that he and Kelly knew the Lord.
Great interview, Jack is a very good listener and asks thoughtful questions.
This interview embodies why I will always respect most true Cowboys and country folk!
Acuña was so fun when I was a kid. It’s so unfair that these kids today can’t just go to Mexico and get hammered.
Man she use to be pretty. But love her voice. Real country!
Home is a classic country/bluegrass album
Get Chris back on
