That’s a great idea (for Jenny & Ron to do some videos from their mission location). It will give fans some much-needed touch points with our beloved Jenny Doan and her adoring husband Ron, *and* with their celebrity status, they can draw attention to the needs in whatever village they are working their mission, possibly drumming up donations for the local cause(s)!

My Best friend and I came to Missouri Star. While we were there we tour all the stores with in 4 hours and we did the barn square tour. It was the most fantastic trip of a life time. We hope to return someday for quilting retreat. They all had different things completely worth the trip.

I have one quilt that was started with my grandmother in 1976 and I finished it without her in 2009. I lost her in 1980. I have another quilt I just finished that I had started 15 years ago. What an accomplishment they are!

There were almost 100 entries and it was a fabulous show. For e-mail preferences, I find that you send too many. It seems that the morning one is mostly a repeat of the morning.

Our local sewing businesses merged, so the quilt shop, the sewing/alterations, and the long-armer have gone in together. It’s been great for all 3 businesses. The sewing/alterations lady is new to America (from South Africa) and it’s been a little bit of culture shock to see how much of a social entity quilting is. Very cool for everyone.
