Smaller watches are coming back into fashion.

CONGRATS - it is a proper little stunner - and welcome to the 36mm club - much more civilised

Tudor is my favorite brand and this model is particularly beautiful.

You're also right that once you've worn a smaller watch, everything else seems too big. I'll wear down to 32mm on a 7.5" wrist and because I am so open minded about size, I am able to enjoy both vintage and modern pieces. Which opens up ones collection and options to a much bigger world. Perhaps that's the size you've all been craving.

Its a great watch, the brand is excellent also. Top quality! Looks bigger than a 36mm. Congratulations!

36mm will be hip again . All these 43mm plus watches will look silly in years to come

I have a 34mm vntage gold dress watch and a variety of 41 42 and one 43 - I think anything in the 40-42 range will look fine in the future.. After all 42mm and above is "in" right now but it doesn't stop the 36mm tudor looking smoking hot does it? Exactly - if its a hot watch its a hot watch - it wont look silly.

I read somewhere that the owner of rolex explorer loved his tudor bb 36 more because it is a lot thinner by 2-3mm than his explorer.

I love that the bracelet looks just like a rolex bracelet

Very stylish & understated watch 😲...I have a BB Blue 41mm...was so torn between this ....⌚...I'm sure this smaller size would of been better for everyday ...but nope had to go bigger! 😄

I use a 34MM rolex Datejust and looks amazing, my Tudor 36mm Hydronaut works for me too... it is all about the look your are going with and the size of your wrist.

The 36mm Black Bay is very similar to a Rolex Explorer and it is amazing value for money, the finish of the materials is superb!

Planning to buy this for me on Christmas. (I need to save more) My first luxury watch hopefully. 😍☺️

That's a real beauty, and the size looks absolutely perfect on your wrist. At first it looks odd, as if it should have a dive bezel, but the blending of sport and dress style comes off just right. Great choice! 👍

You are right...I don't have any 36mm watches. All of mine are 40 (plus)...but I only have a 6 1/2 inch wrist...that 36mm would fit me fine. I just got a Tudor Heritage Ranger last Friday the 4th. It is my first Tudor. I have two Rolex but I'm blown away by the simplicity of the Tudor. Congratulations on your acquisition. It is beautiful...R. L.

I tried on a BB36 at my local AD yesterday, along with a 38mm Seamaster and a Speedmaster Racing. The BB36 stood out for me with it's case quality, perfect weight and just damn sheer good, clean looks. Almost definitely my next purchase.

36mm is the most comfortable size! I love my 36mm Datejust, witch gets lots more wrist time than my 46mm Navitimer World.

The first decent new production model I've seen in ages. 36mm is a great size. The case should not dominate your wrist as in the watch wearing you.

What i believe is that Tudor (thru Rolex) cheated the unsuspecting public buyers when instead of in-house movement, they put an ETA movement like a $400 Steinhart movement. I really like the bb 36 tho' and want to have it in the future. But i hope they put a chronometer movement like bb 58..

That's the kind of watch you can wear everyday for the rest of your life .I think the ETA version will go up in value if Rolex eventually goes with an in house . Much easier and less expensive to get parts and to service ....very nice ! Enjoy it !

It's a matter of taste, of course, but taking the bracelet off to replace it with a leather strap I feel diminishes this watch somewhat. I'm a leather strap man myself and all my watches are worn with leather - except for this particular one. I can't think of a watch that is more fitting of the Oyster style bracelet than this one.

love the look of this watch but with a 8.5" wrist I would love to see it in a 40-41mm size

I have a 6.5-6.75" wrist... the Tudor black bay fits me well actually, but I think this would hit the nail on the head. But I believe the water resistance is less than the Tudor black bay right? Have you had it near water at all?

Recently bought a new OP so had to let this go unfortunately. For straps, I tried a few and all looked great. My favourite was a sand brown suede from b and r bands

Great watch with a beautiful finish and superb bracelet...BUT...for a 36mm width the winding crown is much too big! Every time I look at it all I can see is that great big winder sticking out the side! The Rolex Explorer 36mm has the right proportions of crown size to case width.

KevG1962 dont know about you, but the camo strap looks horrible on it.. why they didnt make a 19mm version of the black bays nato il never know... i think if youve baught this watch one of the reason is you like simpler looking pieces, to then have it jazzed with camo is a bit odd to me.

36mm is nice in itself but looks so small on bog guys.. I’m not particularly tall but pretty big sizewise. It sadly does look like a womans watch when worn by me and the 41mm looks in itself just out of proportion. Nice model but just cant find the right proportion for it

I have a feeling this will fit better for an everyday watch. even though I can wear 41-42 watches too, like the seamaster 300 without it being to big. stil every once in a while i got asked why i have such a big watch. those were non watch people asking me this. this got me thinking... the 36 will be just fine for every occasion. the case thickness of 10.25 is great too, you can wear this watch with any shirt and it will look good. Im going to try it on tomorrow and compare it the the normal sized black bay, which looks good on my wrist. stil im pretty sure im gonna end up with the 36mm. sold all my watches and now I want to build a small collection of 3-5 watches, this being my first. the next purchase will probably be a vintage omega seamaster as a dress watch and I hope I can get my hands on a rolex 16570 white dial in good condition in a few years. thats the plan for now.

A 36mm will look better with a sleeve. I would even say that 31mm would be a great sized low profile watch that is very smart.

I bought the BB36 for my girlfriend for Christmas. It seems to be about 10 seconds fast per day and is very tight to wind. Is this normal? The tight winding that is.
