I watched a recent late-night talk show with Ice-T and Mariska on the show in person. He's as dedicated to her in real life as he is on the set. A forever bond that goes back 20 years. Wow, that episode last night was beyond sad; my daughter was beside herself. Amazing how a fictional story can suddenly become so real.....

C L L it happens a lot on tv shows where cast mates become close friends much like the cast of Mash even though the show ended in 1983 many members of the cast remained friends like Alan Alda, Harry Morgan and others even when several of cast died like Wayne Rogers, Alan Alda was deeply saddened by his death and Morgan’s. SVU and other shows to show that cast members are still friends like Mariska and Chris Meloni are close friends even after he left the show after season 12 and are today. Then again there have been shows where cast members didn’t get along at all.

I remember when I couldn’t stand Tucker in the early seasons. I started to like him when he and Benson were dating. Now he’s dying? You took away her mother, Elliot, Amaro, got her almost assaulted three times, Noah was taken, her brother, and now this? What’s next? Give the woman a break! Jeez!

It pains to say it because I am more than convinced that in the earliest of season when Olivia was partnered with Stabler, Tucker had both of their pictures on his office wall telling himself "one of these days, your badges will be mine", I got empathy for him. The last thing I would want is for him to got out like this. Especially with regrets.

This episode was gutwrenching. It was clear that Olivia & Tucker still had feelings for one another. It showed both characters being vulnerable. I hate these two never ended up together. Olivia deserves some happiness.

In the older seasons, I didn't like Tucker, but after he and Olivia started dating, I started to like him more. It's so sad what's happening to him now.

Get Stabler back for an episode this season. She needs him.

They absolutely had great chemistry..I feel as though Stabler left to soon and he didn't really have proper send off..I'm pretty sure if they ask him now to return for a few episodes he probably say yes if he isn't on another show..if not, he better damn well return if they ever decide to end SVU..I hope the show never ends though lol.

As much I don’t like Tucker in the past, I actually really do feel sad for him.

Elliott and Cragen retired. Munch retired then got reassigned. Amaro wanted to get reassigned. Barba's guilt drove him to move on. Novak and Cabbit both moved on from svu. Then her brother Simon accidentally overdosed. Warner rarely been seen, Now tucker is really really sick. Fin is really the only one left especially from season 1.

After he discovered he had brain cancer in the final scene Liv told Fin that Tucker took his own life with his gun and that he left his wife a letter, his pension, his benefits... He told her that he didn't want her to spend the best years of her life taking care of a dying man.

He was always jammin' SVU up. Choked his cousin the priest Maurice out,Tucker was off the chain,but he changed for the better while with liv. He realized that the CJ FIELD DOES HAVE A GREY AREA. R.I.P Eddie...

I'm not gonna lie, this is not a very lighthearted show, but this was truthfully one of the most heartbreaking episodes I've ever seen.

I don't like seeing Oliva sad to see her guy Tucker about to die she already lost Elliot,Nick,Captain Cragen, Cassidy, whole entire family member like the peoples in her life right now are Rollin, Crassi and Fin but mostly Fin he like her big brother since season 2 thru right now

Then she lost Carisi and Rollins - The Captain remains in her squadroom to welcome in the newbies.. then, the show renewed for 3 more seasons.

This really breaks my heart. In the 21 years of the show we see ed go from always trying to give the squad a hard time to being one of Olivia's closest allies

I have been crying on and off since last night. The minute I started talking about it to friends, especially that soul crushing ending, I just break down. I'm breaking down watching this clip. First her half brother, now Tucker....Damn it....

I didn't watch before when I first commented, just finished. I cried 😭! I genuinely believe that they both cared for/loved each other. You can see the hurt (of how things ended) between the two, but the love is still there. ”We still have Paris,” broke me 😭❤️!!

It's been a sad season for Olivia for being captain. She lost her brother, lost Rachel and lost Tucker. I also feel bad for the new detective losing somebody she knew.

We need people like tucker in today’s society! Especially in the police force! He comes across like the bad guy when really he is doing the right thing by the people he is there to protect and serve this man was the underdog!🔥

Joe Whitehead , I didn’t watch much in those days. The procedures were unprofessional and many of their convictions would have been overturned on appeal. Beginning in season 13, new show runner made the episodes more true to life. Of course internal affairs would have been investigating the squad with such overt violations. So, my knowledge of the show begins in season thirteen.

aw man, hes being written outta the show? Hes one of my favorites!

This was a great episode. I appreciated the diversity of the cast.

I'm beyond addicted to this show. I love it so much that I won't cook, eat or answer my phone when its on and my phones ringtone is the shows theme song.

Remember when we all hated him whenever he was investigating Olivia and also Elliot at some point back in the day? How things have changed.

Olivia has went through alot in her life first her partner elliot, her mother, her brother and her father and now she finds out that ed has been diagnosed with cancer she has never gave up on anyone in the city and she will never give up on her happiness for olivia there's always hope and a joyful heart

Mariska is so classy, beautiful, intelligent, a badass, a sweetheart, and super hot. Incredible woman.

Wow had now idea this show is still going I thought it ws just re-runs i gotta catch up this is one of the most intense shows ever the first few seasons are classics specially that episode with Robin Williams that was gold.

I used to hate tucker so much! He was always out to get the whole squad! Never imagined him changing, let alone being with liv.... May have been one of the most hateful characters, but he did bring fun chills and thrills. Knowing there will be no more appearances by him...and with why and how, it is pretty sad. he gave liv was some true happy and unforgettable moments. Even in real life, when someone dies, most prefer to remember the good times instead of the bad...

There were so many deaths in this episode wow

He is so handsome, these two television characters were just so good together. Sometimes, television gets it right, and then they have to destroy it, they had it with these characters showing two characters with demanding careers who had a realistic working, loving balance relationship, they were just so very wonderful together, they were just the very best!!!❤️🎉🎉💫

I am so sorry Tucker. That was the exact same cancer my Mom had. It started in her lungs and moved into her brain. They gave her 6 months to a year. And I asked the same question Olivia did. She did 5 months later. I miss her so much.

Olivia is great and brave detective that will stand for herself when she don't have anybody . She still is the captain without her family and friends on the movies. She still got Finn and her son Noah around.

20 Years of loss makes me wonder who's next to leave Olivia's side....

They used to be enemies who were against each other and now they love each other

Powerful scene.

That whole episode just gutted me. There were three deaths, one of which was a bad cop's suicide to escape consequences, but Tucker's suicide in the aftermath of his cancer dx is the one that wrecked me.

All I'm asking y'all is to please not take Fin out of her life please I beg of you

These illnesses are a reality many 911 rescue and recovery workers are still suffering from...tragic.
