I teared up! I cannot believe I did my first tubular cast on! I feel like a true knitter now! Thank you so much for this tutorial.
You have a way of making everything easier to understand! Thanks for this.
Thanks
Your explanations are so clear it’s a pleasure. Thank you so much.
This is the best demonstration I've seen! Thank you.
Steven, Thank you so much for this tutorial!!!! I always had trouble with the the tubular cast on!
I tried about 6 different videos before it clicked with yours. Very happy to find clear directions without fiddling with a crochet hook or scrap yarn. Many thanks!
Very Useful. This Is One Of Those Things I've Never Grasped. I'm Hopeful Now! 😅💞 Can I Just Say, I Also Love That Yarn Color. Bold & Bright!
Ahh seems so much easier now that I’ve watched this. Thanks bunches!
thank you!! your explanation is very clear and i can see your hands movement very well❤
Love your clear directions! You also make directions fun, and easy to follow along with you. Thank you!
finally got this 😅 great tutorial, very patient presentatio
I played with it and instead of only four set up rows, I did. the whole ribbing like this. I turned out so good, I will keep doing it for further project
Thank you, this is just what i needed ❤❤❤ happy holidays
Eres un gran Maestro Stephen !!! Muchas gracias por compartir el vídeo tutorial !!! 💯😘♥️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Very nice video. Please, a slow motion version…!
Now, since we have a disjointed break in our in-the-round work, we need to know how to join that with our tail so that it doesn't show
Great tuto ! Thanks !
Thank you!
Brilliant 👏thank you.
😊 Awesome! Tks.
After the set up rows of the tubular cast on, how do you incorporate a 3 stitch I-cord edging....for a cardigan neckband ? Do you have a tutorial for this scenario please?!🧶💫 thank you
Thank you for this fantastic video! I am using the tubular cast on for a pair of finger-less mitts, but normally when I join in the round, I add an extra stitch to avoid the little jog. In the video, I see that we are supposed to end with a "purl" stitch. Can I cast on one more stitch after the "purl" stitch for my join and if I do, what about when I flip the needle around for the first set up row. Would I just knot into the back of the first two stitches? Will the "extra" stitch not work in this situation? Thank you so much!
It would have been helpful to include demonstrating joining in the round with the tubular cast on.
Hi there, do we have to end with a purl stitch? My hat pattern calls for 56 stitches so ending with a purl stitch would throw this off…
Can this technique be used for a 2x2 rib?
❤

Next I’d like to see how you join those flat rows to knit in the round. Seems like it would avoid the nightmare of having twisted the cast on row!

I believe Stephen shows how to knit in the round at 7.11.

@@lesleyoliver3310It's not the knitting in the round that's the trouble. It's the disjointed bit remaking after joining that must - somehow- be fixed with the yarn tail. And to get it invisible is no small feat

@@latitude1904 ah ha I didn’t realise that was your query. Have you taken a look at his tips section? Lots of troubleshooting information there.

@@yveslefevre8905 I'm sorry - we use different terminology in the U.S. so I fail to understand
I could see me casting on 300 stitches and zoning out about halfway and going into regular long tail cast on mode. 😂
This was fantastic!! Thank you so much for providing such wonderful tutorials!! 🩷
Could I just k1p1
Thank you!
