I watched so many bloody videos about how to do this but I finally understood in this tutorial. Thank you so much- very clear
My comment is the same as all the others lol. Out of all the different videos I watched, this one was the easiest to understand and follow. Thank you so much!!
Yup, this is the clearest and easiest to follow of all the Italian bind-off videos!
My goodness! Best quick tutorial ever! Thanks 😊☺️

You're so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful.
Thank you. I watched multiple tutorials but followed your tutorial. Your description is very clear and I appreciate that you repeat the bind off steps multiple times. I was able to easily follow along
This tutorial was great! Usually I am super stressed doing this bind off method. But there was a rhythm in the way you explained it and it totally helped. THANK YOU!
Very clear. Just repeated Stephen’s voice in my head and it stuck. Thank you so much.
I watched 2 other videos so frustrated trying to figure this out. Then I came to yours and you made it click. Thank you for the great explanation!
Interesting. I appreciate this simple instruction. I do not know how to knit, but this teaching is perfect for learning. Love it.
Soooo clear and helpful! Thank you!
Superb! I Love These Technique Videos. 💜
Thank you so much! I was hoping you’d have a tubular bind off tutorial. I always struggle with it and end up using another method. This was great - easy to follow and very clear. I’ll keep watching and practicing until master it 😊. Thanks again Stephen!
Love your tips and tricks
Most helpful video! Thank you 😊
Thank you Stephen! As always, wonderful tutorial! I did this on a 2 x 2 ribbing on a sweater hem, but first you have to set that up to convert the last round to 1 x 1. It would be great if you did a tutorial on that to show others that process! I so enjoy your videos, you are a treasure to the knitting community!
Thank you! So well explained
Thank you again 👌🏽God Bless
Interesting, it’s like the Kitchener but doing it on one needle!!

Me too!
grazie. quando tu spieghi è tutto piu semplice!!!!
Thanks so much 💜
This was a bit easier, but, it still went too fast for me. I’m trying to bind off a button band so I have a LONG bit of yarn I had to pull through and by the time I got through that, he was beyond the next step I had to do. 😢. I will undo (yet again) and try it again.
I’m sorry, but this bind off is what I learned the Italian or Kitchener bind off. The tubular bind off has two or four rows/rounds of double knitting before grafting the same way you show, to create a small tube. They are a little different and the tubular bind off is a little less stretchy than the Italian one.
A very clear video which I will practice as I have a sweater edge bind off to do. Do we need to prepare for this bind off row by k1, sl1 across 2 rows ? I've read that, but not sure if it applies here.
