I was sitting in my home alone, quite miserable, and while looking for some music on KZread this video popped up... And now I'm knitting vigorously the boneyard shawl, way much happier, all sad thoughts gone away... Thank you Stephen! 🥰

Stephen, yesterday morning I finished my first Boneyard Shawl and am proud of it. I started knitting it in 2018, so the pattern I began with was your original Boneyard Shawl pattern. My shawl was in hibernation for 4 years, so when I got back around to it this month your revised pattern was available. I used the I-cord bind off and it's perfect for this shawl. Yesterday afternoon I began my second Boneyard Shawl, in large part because I found this video so inspiring. Love the changes set forth in the new pattern: garter tab, three garter stitch edging, I-cord bind off, plus general explanations to help us along the journey. I love watching your videos, even if I'm not knitting the pattern at hand. Your attitude is always so positive and your kind warmth comes shining through. Thank you, Stephen.

I used size 4 weight and was worried that it would be too stiff, but a little voice in my head said - keep going. Finished the bind off this morning and it is gorgeous ! Squash gold colour - it is so beautiful. The tighter knit is perfect for the cold winter months. Sincere thanks for this and you are so charming ! I will knit a matching little kerchief for our morkie named Oliver. Cheers !
