This is cute. I had no idea it was symbolism for a relationship with someone from another race but I love the episodes they were so cute honestly.

This entire series is like from a japanese girl and a korean boy when this was made people don't liked japanese and korean marriage so the cats are the koreans and rabitts are japanese

When I was younger, step 5 was always my favorite. Probably because of how romantic and epic it was compared to the others, but now that I'm older I'm thinking the simplicity and realism of step 3 makes it my new favorite!

Nabi is going to be WORLD FAMOUS, once Doki gets finished talking about him!

I remember watching this when i was around 9 and I would always tear up at both step 3 and 5 even until now. It is such a great portrayal of love between two people who werent allowed to be together. Love your works!!

I love all the cute little moments in these shorts, like Nabi pawing his claws for the day to come, the neighbor-folk facing the alley being either indifferent, YOU WOKE UP MY BABY!, or just plain cheering 'em on like Whooo! AGAIN, AGAIN! And Doki nearly snapping one of the Spike Rabbits clean in half to tell 'em to get lost. And man, should seen us around the apartment around 2013 when I showed them this like OH WOW, DID YOU SEE~?! if they'd only know what would come next..

OMG, I remember this since it started like 20 years ago on newgrounds and I see it everytime I can

God, seeing all these advancements to the classic original (lighting, improved scenes, additional animation) really puts a smile on my face.

I feel blessed for being a fan and getting to see all of this, really glad amalloc has decided to remaster the original works before putting out the new episode. Makes me feel hyped all the time, keep up the amazing work SamBakZa!

In My opinion this is the cutest step

이거 프나펑에서 봤던건데 애니메이션으로 보니까 너무 재밌고 귀여워요♡♡ 2015년이면 약 5년쯤 전인데 오늘 첨 알았어요 스토리가 독특하고 그림체도 귀여워서 좋아요♡♡ 떳다그녀! 이제부터 많이 봐야겠어요♡♡

This is so refreshing and calming. I love the flow from step 1 to step 3 as their affection builds up!! And eash step is so amazing

This deserves way more likes than what it currently has, I've always loved this animation.

I'm surprised that I'm only now noticing, more than ten years after seeing this for the first time, and after dozens of rewatches, that the animals at 2:11 are giving Nabi a cheeky glance, like they're all going "Ooooooh, looks like someone's in looooove~"

This is amazing! But Step 4 is next, and whenever I see it I always tear up a bit.

God, I miss this animation. It was cute when I saw it come out and it still is.

This series reminds me a lot of me and my girlfriend since we’re both different races and also LGBT 💕💕💕 this series gives me a lot of hope there’s a chance for us to hope for a better future where we can still stay together

What I like about step 3 is up to this point Doki’s definitely dedicated but it could have been just a keen crush for her or an unhealthy obsession. If it were that, she might not of respected Nabi’s request to tone her open enthusiasm down… the absence of which for the rest of the date makes Nabi realise he actually *misses* it but it also gives him a chance to learn a little bit more about her.

Очень просто, но ГЕНИАЛЬНО просто показан и раскрыт характер персонажей! Очень тонкий юмор, невероятная гамма чувств, в такой простой анимации. Каждый цвет, каждая деталь здесь не лишние, они что-то всегда означают, символизируют. SamBakZa! Дайте мастер-класс Disney! Браво, Маэстро! upd. Если бы у меня была бы такая девушка как Doki Tokki... женился бы немедленно! Не смотря ни на что. ))) Да, она слегка назойлива, но это вылечит время и возраст!))) I watch this 3 or 2 years ago I watched it when I was 5 or 3 probably when I was 7 I cried so much but I love anime and I love anime till this day and I am 9 right now

I'm guessing Nintendo forced the animator to censor the pokeball. A shame because it was a cute reference. I decided to re watch this series for nostalgia and it still hits me emotonally like it did back then. What a fantastic use of visual storytelling and metaphor, and it says a lot that it has so many international fans.

Nintendo didn't force me to do it, it's something I did on my own when I didn't know much about copyright, but I like that mosaic treatment because it looks like a fun joke.

It's actually part of Korea/Japan's ludicrous copyright laws that are indeed more relentless with the content creators, so in a better way to avoid issues in KZread Korea, they decided to censor the Pokéball in order to prevent any claim.

I have a thoughts: when I watch this and other step of the story, I feel like I need something if you still alone like me then you will see why. But after all, life is life and the movie is the movie. If I have a dream then I wish my life was a movie like this.
