The line at 1:27 "So much better, so much fun" with the scene of a shot down blimp sounds like she's agreeing with Mylo. Like "yeah, you were right, it WOULD be so much better and so much fun to shoot a blimp down than ride in one." I know people have pointed out her shooting down the blimp but I haven't seen anyone point out the line going with that scene. I just think it's interesting.

Two things that really amaze me as someone who only got to know lol stuff through arcane: First up how much of the art style is already on show here. And secondly how many elements relating to Jinx were already there that the show managed to put into context. Oh also the song is quite catchy.

@@xenn4985 The quote i used, by Juuzou Suzuya from Tokyo Ghoul, is not praise, he is simply acknowledging that he is a monster, but also criticizing anyone who calls him as such, because people are more complex than simply being hero or villain, by the end of the story, he helps both humans and ghouls alike because he is not irredeemable, and because he considers the protagonist a friend as he was the only one who didn't look at Juuzou with disgust or fear in his eyes.

@@xenn4985 They just think she is a cool character, and you kinda feel bad for her, given everything that happened. She should be in jail, but she is not as evil as some other Champions like Singed, Fiddlesticks, etc, and to make matters worse, Silco of all people gave her what she wanted the most: forgiveness for her mistakes, that pretty much garantees she will keep fighting for his cause, it's a tragedy on all sides, Vi wants her to go back to being innocent, she thinks Vi abandoned her and went insane, Viktor... You don't wanna know what happens to him, ditto for Vander, all traced back to one botched robbery and some other factors that kept pilling up in a perfect storm

But in the part where she dances with the robot she is dancing the leading part but in has her right arm extended, whereas in formal balldance, the leading part has its left arm extended. I think this is a pretty neat detail on how jinx twits the establishment. Also, girl is on beat!

@@Sabaelos That's a hefty goal to live up to, but they've got the lore to do it for sure. Watching Act II of Arcane seems uphold your theory really well though, I can't get enough of it!

the thing i love about this video is that it's all canon in arcane and i'm not just talking about the song itself - the sequence from 1:41 nailed it for me. she's animated in that jumpy snappy method and spends a few extra moments lining up her shots juuust right multiple times throughout the series. jinx's fashion might've changed in arcane, but her STYLE remains the same.

Love how this character evolved with us as people. 9 years ago I was so young and loved this character for a completely different reason than I do with her modern arcane iteration.

Gotta love the crazies. Even if they are crazy because they are broken. (Jinx, Harley Quinn, Azula, just to name a few.)

Since a lot of people seem to love this Father-Daughter tragedy, here is a little detail to make this experience better: Jinx's rocket launcher is a shark with a black, scar-like detail on its left eye. It's called fishbone Silco has a black scar on his left eye. Silco loved sea monsters and Jinx wanted to make something Silco really liked, so Jinx made a sea monster inspired weapon based on Silco (like the coffee mug she had made for him). Jinx used the "Fishbone the black eyed Sea monster" weapon to kill the council because she thought that is what Silco would have wanted. In the game she banters with "Fishbone" like it were parent-child conversation. "We will show them. We will show them all" You are welcome.

The Harley Quinn story is basically a toxic crush. The Joker is a guy who goes crazy from a bad day. Jinx lived through three extremly traumatic episodes from childhood to early youth accompanied by heavy doses of violence, insecurity and anxiety. She is on another level.

Fun fact: Jinx is the first league champion that has her own MV trailer. Jinx has been the cover of League of Legends mobile game since its release. Jinx is the main character in Arcane season 1. Man, riot just really likes her and I'm not complaining.

Its much more likely, and almost as impressive, that they took elements of this and her character and retroactively wrote around them. The likelihood they were planning a full tv shows worth of lore around female bipolar joker character 8 years in advance is minimal.

This video is what made me love Jinx so much, I'm glad they managed to incorporate it into the series too!

Jinx has to be one of Riot's best champion releases. EVERYONE was hyped for her. And I wish I could be this hyped again about new champions. Whenever a new champion comes out now I just don't care lol.

League of Legends Jinx is still a ball of chaotic comedy, but the Arcane Jinx was someone who witnessed terror and abuse during her childhood, which caused her to become what LoL Jinx is because she lead herself to believe that she is not worthy of being rescued. Thus fully favoring and adoring the no longer stable version that she is. This song resembles both versions of Jinx in a sense. The childish mind that Jinx has, the chaos and destruction that she has been surrounded for all her life and becoming that very destruction that threatens the many lives in the present time. "Powder" was Jinx's previous name before she gave it away. Whenever Jinx refers to "Pow Pow" she means her younger-self who would have never agreed or wanted such destruction to happen.

Watching this years later after Arcane makes it so much darker. Like, knowing what's going on in Jinx's head gives it a subtle vibe of a somber overtone.

Tbh I’d love to see this remastered in a Arcane Art style so much, it’d be so interesting to see though this is nostalgic and beautiful still :)

i hate it. Arcane is a good story, but I hate, what they did with jinx. I liked the chaos for chaos sake, mad destruction without purpose, no feelings involved. Now she is just a broken girl with mental problems. She is no longer the jinx that is shown in this video she is a completely different character. everyone talking about how great Arcane is but it more than killed my favourite league character, it destroyed her.
