I remember standing on the shore of Lake Garda in Italy with a massive dark sky of clouds sweeping in. The rain was a solid wall hissing across the water towards us. It was astonishing and awe inspiring to see - with people of about 6 nationalities all exclaiming to each other in our own languages - and understanding each other completely 😀

Sadly, we don't appreciate it much 🙁 Allah gives a brief detail about this beautiful phenomenon in the Qur'an. "It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until you see rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!" [Qur'an 30:48] "We send down pure water from the sky. That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created, cattle and men in great numbers." [ Al-Qur'an 25:48- 49 ] "And We send down from the sky rain chartered with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and grain for harvests." [ Al-Qur'an 50:9 ] "And He who sends down (from time to time) water from the sky in due measure, and We raise to life therewith a land that is dead. Even so will you be raised (from the dead)." [Al-Qur'an 43:11]

This happened two years ago where I live. We got 6 inches of rain in 15 minutes. It was very destructive but at the same time amazing. It didn't rain that hard with hurricane Irene. You wouldn't think the air could hold so much water.

This a cloudburst, not a microburst. While both are beautiful phenomena, they are two very different things. A cloudburst is when an abnormally large amount of rain falls over a very small area in a short amount of time, whereas a microburst is when a localized column of sinking air (also known as a downdraft) occurs within a severe thunderstorm.

I've only witnessed this once in my life. The other island was rained and were on the next island watching in awe. I would love to witness this again. Truly, nature's wonder.

It's incredible to watch the cloud vapor condense into raindrops! starting at 0:09 and going on through the cloud like a sky wave. The little ridge between the gaseous cloud and forming water: Beautiful!

Angelica Maria Ramirez Alvarez It's kinda cool that you say that because islands like here on Guam face that kind of weather pretty often. Maybe we didn't get storms as bad as it looks in the video, but I always remember every once in a while just witnessing a 10-15 second storm that was very powerful. After that there was nothing. I remember asking friends from the mainland about that and I remembered them being so shocked, though I thought microstorms were normal!

its possible if human contaminated that cycle which is currently happening due to greenhouse effect and toxic waste that have been produce by mankind. A decade ago whenever its raining i can still go out and shower below them. But now just going out in the rain is gonna make us catch fever. The contamination is so underrated due to misunderstanding and the lack of human society awareness. Many other factor have led it astray such as symptom are cause by our own immune system. Which is entirely false. Which is not necessarily but also true since fever developed because of viruses invading our cells which makes our antibodies to send them fighting it. The high amount of temperature increased is trigger by our cells self defense mechanism. So... do you think our rain nowadays dont have any harmful pathogens?
