Bro, you improved a lot. In this video its like mumbles than talking clearly.

Plot twist: The blue building at the bottom of the map that was built around half way in, was an alarm tower. It's alarm was the Trolololol song, which through off Adhafang's game.

I got excited about the suggestion of the idea of an update. It doesn't even need to be a massive update, just bring the game up to modern day graphics and add maybe one or two new races. Starcraft did it and it rocked. Sadly, when MS did it for AoE, it went cartoony and stupid. With an aging player base, the best move isn't to go cartoony. Besides, few young kids have the patience or intelligence to learn a game this complex. AoE, AoM, these are all extremely highly rated games with loyal player bases. I played a LAN game of AoE a year or so ago...

Add a new race? Do you realise what kind of work that would be? They need to take another mythology, problem is there's none available. If anything they must then take an asian or arabic mythology. Then units, gods, godpowers and the most important and insane task, they must rebalance everything. I cannot see how they can manage that. The addition of the Atlanteans already made it somewhat troublesome in ways of balance, many still belive its not done right and prefer AoM or simply AoT but no atty players. The task would be very time and money consuming. Not to mention that there would be few studio's that could pull it off. Plus i would personally not like to see a change in gameplay at all, in fact i'd probably would not play it and play this version instead. I still like this game so much after all these years because its the same, change it and ruin it, that goes for me anyways. Besides AoM allows for hd settings already, so i've heard anyways.

Wimpiethe3 I don't really disagree. I think the game is good enough with the races it has to be worth an update just with graphics and maybe a bit of AI. But it's not really *that* hard to add new races. Look at all the races in AoE. I don't know why they wouldn't be able to use Asian or Arabic. There's not *none available*. OK, so there wasn't really a huge ocean-faring influence from Asia at the time frames loosely suggested by the game (say active civilizations from 1000-2000 yrs ago), but you could do: Chinese Hun, Chinese Man (not human, Man tribe), Polynesian, Arabic, Indian... you could even try and tackle the awkward naming of the First Nations Americans. Balancing the god powers might be a tad tricky. I'm actually in the camp of people who aren't impressed with the Atty's, but they went such a dramatically different direction with the god powers, it was really inevitable that they would run into balance problems.

Wimpiethe3 Isn't Egypt mythology more or less Arabic? Other mythologies would be great! Imagine Indian mythos or eastern Asian myths making it to the game! That would be awesome! Maybe even some Persian mythology. Zoroastrianism has a few deities that could be used.

It's because it prioritizes those units under the tower rather than units which aren't. Meaning that your towers are going to be prioritizing to deal 15 damage rather than 30 damage which is massive... Unless you want to micro your towers.

Boit IS the actual best RTS games caster in MY world. At least thats my opinion!

I pre-ordered the extended edition, looks like its going to be an awesome game with upgraded graphics and enhanced gameplay from the original game!

8:43 what you can do in a situation like that if your quick is to timeshift a manor infront of the units delaying them and getting some shots onto them. also works when raiding.

wow I played for many years and I never thought about that boiling oil thing. I thought it worked like murder holes in aoe, allows you to shoot underneath the tower. can I get an explaining of what boiling oil actually does? also, there aren't that many aom casters out there so we're kinda stuck with you hehe do you think you can get a better mic?

I think the thing about boiling oil is that it hits all units hitting fortress, you only shoot so many arrows, so if they have 3-4 units hitting the building, I think oil is better. I'm guessing, that's the only reason I can think off.

Unless they're his personal games, Boit gets all of his recs from rts-sanctuary.com. It's possible he might download a few from the Voobly website (player's profiles), but anyways most all games will be on rts-s.

myrmodon can be upgraded to have bonus vs titans

So we got these things called a mouse wheel, and u basically spin it. U need to enable the spinning cheese wheel in the options.

I have never played Age of Mythology due to the fact that the majority of the AoE community seems to prefer AoE II. How do you guy feel Age of Mythology compares to AoE II?
