An observation you didn't touch on, he had scouts at every crossing point to see incoming raids. Given at the time you didn't know where the crossing points were. Also you got one good raid in, grunts are cheap and only takes one to knock out a mex in a few hits, if you could constantly harass his expansion would've been much slower allowing you time to scale as well.

Can't wait for them to be able to upgrade the aesthetics of the game. The gameplay is there, now they need to work on presentation.

They have been talking about an engine update in their discord and also mentioned graphics with it. I think the art style is in a good place though

Engine update is one thing, art is quite another. And I would disagree, animations are overly simplistic and often badly done with animations not matching move speed, for example.@@WholeCelery

In my opinion if the gameplay for an RTS is good you dont really need the super nice animations as long as it works the way its supposed to. Dont get me wrong though it would be a nice touch.

Like I said, the gameplay is there - now they need to up the graphics. It doesn't look any better than Supcom, and that's over 10 years old. Once they up the graphics, I'm in.@@WholeCelery

The graphics look just fine and besides its going to be more peformanced related over nice graphics. Look at zero k graphics and you will be grateful for how bar looks.
