It also made me download the mod, and I’m now a 2300, and I want to go higher

I was going to call it for Team 1, but then Nory gets himself killed for no reason leaving a 600 rating gap and I am reminded why I never call games.

It wasn't 'no reason' his commander was clearly not reacting to his move commands properly. He got stuck on a cliff a few minutes before he got killed. Another player agreed that their units weren't responding correctly.

@@TheEarlofBronze1he stood there to build pd for 20sec. And it was walking fine when he finally got on the move. Only at the end it did some weird stuff but he was already a dead by then

Units becoming unresponsive in the lategame, i.e. just straight up ignoring some of your orders, was a real bug for a couple of weeks in October. It was fixed in a hotfix for patch 3773 shortly after though

10 years later and this game and its content still hasnt lost its satisfying edge of epic battles

Ouch, Team 1 seriously neglected their ground forces. They were in a great position! Got caught with their pants down on numerous occasions.

They were 1700 against 2300. That is not a small difference. They had advantage on the map, but not in the battle.

This is a good game and a good example to never give up. Team 2 were behind in eco, map control and players. Yet they still won. MrScience was the weak link as he didnt do much with the mass, only spamed asf which had 0 impact on the game.

"Standy, standy, cigaretty breaky". Classic one Gyle. Had me lol. :)

From Cheese's commentary in the beginning, can't help but feel like it wasn't much of a "whoops" that he died early on

Nah, I just gave move orders that don't work against auroras and then looked away to deal with Kuhwa's navy proxy. Gyle was probably right about me being more useful dead than alive that game xd

This video was awesome, loved how "secure the beachhead" first seems to refer to bottom team's beach but then turns to be about top team's

In a time where cpu's and gpu's can just run this game to the max I am glad to get back into this game where as it is my go to for action and stratagy.

Nory died like a complete noob. That is what cost Team 1 the game.

imo the thumbnails showing mighty UEF technology are the best, in all objectivity that is.

@gyle technically, in a role play point of view, nano repair come from a lots of nano-bots that are making micro-reparation very quickly on the com, for that you must have billions of them. Now, for stealth, imagine that you repurpose all those nanobots to work on the hiding of all your external signatures. Meaning, they can interfere with light for visual sensors, the electronic for radar,... And you will need billions nano robots for that because you have to constantly adapt your stealth cloak to your surrounding so you definitively need a large swarms of robot to do that. So it makes sense that nano-repair is a step before the stealth. That was the supreme commander science point of the day! :)

thats crazy dude, at around 27 minutes i didnt expect the colossus to succeed cuz in supcom 2 (haven't played forged alliance, im on xbox) the Kirpter and Colossus aren't that strong, especially when solo like that.

Strange game. I can't help but think that Insidious should have been able to make something significant with that kind of eco and I was waiting for it, but it just didn't happen. The scathis in the end was cool, but way too late. Where did that eco evaporate to?

Is it just me of has Aeon been massively nerfed lately, I don't see them that often and when I do they always seem to be on the losing side, I feel like some rebalancing is definitely needed

I don't understand why anyone would use this naming mod. None of the unit names make any damned sense. It's just word soup and clutters your play space making it harder to control /anything/ near your units. Also Nory was like "Nano-repair will do better than stealth." then doesn't take ANY damage until a GC shoots his face. Like my man just keep stealth. It can't kill you if it can't see you, they don't have omni cover there. This always baffles me because stealth is literally the strongest defence measure in the entire game and his death there really impacted the game.

And at 28:01 the mistake has been made

KuhwaKlimaKleber = Cow wa? Climate glue (referencing last generation/climate rebelion protests where people glue themselfs to streets in protest)

FYI, I don't know why but your video is always much lower in volume than others. I keep having to turn yours up and then turn it back down if i watch anything else.

I don't like the decision to make a scathis. You lose so much map control when you dump all your mass into a scathis. And losing map control means losing reclaim piles and losing extractors.

Once purple got all of the mass nothing really came of it. Bad team play to not give the islnd and Norys area to the orange player. That might have taken some loaad off purple and helped orange catch back up. he never really recovered from the red attacks.

To this day, I still cant figure out how or why this game is so underrated. I mean compare it to other similar genres and it beats them all! I mean sure the story is complete shit, but cmon, so is Starcraft's lol

Bad game. Orders bugged, practically no attempt to deal with GC's. Shame as it started off incredibly.

really disappointing game to watch tbh, great cast.....but they really should make experimentals more expensive.....they are so easy to spam up its dumb
