It was really strange. In hind sight I should've not killed him and see if he kept pestering me about wanting to be left out even though I was half way to Rattay.

Henry is a growing boy, got to keep all that beef on him to keep him going. ;)

If you KO or kill a gaurd and leave their body outside of the door, once captured, if you deny Zybshek either he or another guard will open the door to search for the murderer. Thus, Henry is free. Vegetarian style.

lol, I do like the "vegetarian style" phrase. But I think I screwed up in this video because I killed someone but their body was too far off, and well all the guards were dead already so Zybshek could not get anyone. :P Honestly I do not know what happens if you keep refusing Zybshek. I don't know if the game even gives you that option.

This was the strangest thing to me. This is one of the few characters that have a quest trigger on them, that you can kill. (It might be the only one!) In Talmberg the guard who teaches you how to "wait" you can't kill him. You can stab him all day to farm exp but he will not die. Why didn't they do the same for this? But again I am assuming that they didn't think someone could bust into the camp before hand. The other interesting thing that I did not show in the video is that you can kill all the guards/bandits in the camp without even entering the camp, except for that guy. If you shoot arrows into the camp on the other side of the fence, a bunch of guards will start running all the way around and come out to the last position you were shooting arrows at. It is rather strange. That guy is the only guy who will not move from that spot unless you shoot him directly.

The last time I played, I wanted to skip all the monastery part so I snuck in and knocked out the guy you are supposed to kill and carried him out in the middle of the night. I killed him outside and the quest item showed up in Rattay in a box the devs created for just such an occasion. I actually didn't need it though because I met with the bandits before the game alerted me that an item was in the special box.

You can break in there being a monk and kill everyone. It is either slightly tricky or crazy easy. The reason I say that is that, if you get everyone when they sleep, you can wipe out about 90% of the population. (Sometimes when beds touch each other I do not think it is possible to knockout or stealth kill without waking other person up). I forgot what exactly happens, so I might try it again, but it does involve some luck and extreme patience. It has been a really long time since I have tried something like that, so I don't know if you auto fail if you kill anyone else? But I don't think so, its been awhile. That mission is a famous for being annoying. You really have to be into the RP format and a fan of detective series to enjoy that mission.

@@helicalgoose I loved that mission just because of how dry it was. I agree though, my roommate was watching my playthrough and i did that part while he slept. You really just gotta be into the rp for that part.

It will come someday ;) The one thing I am trying to figure out to screw with the mission completely. There are the known things you can do to screw it up which I rather not rehash. But honestly I have been avoiding it since it is mission that requires patience. Oh boy, that is a toughie. :P

@@helicalgoose you are dope you'll figure something out. I tried lockpicking in there before the mission and put a bunch of lockouts in one of those cubards so I can get around easier when I'm in there. I haven't tested it but you could start there.

@@Boltman12278 That is a great idea to put some items in chests around the area. :) I will think of something, just need time to prepare for that sort of quest. There are a few different ways to do this quest which makes it a bit more complicated.

@@helicalgoose Side door to the chapel is open during The House of God side quest "investigate scaffold accident" given by Talmberg innkeep. I was considering dropping off some lockpicks in the chapel, turns out there is one already there at the altar.

I like to say this channel is only 50% beef 50% Henry killing everyone. ;)

There's a couple more ways to kill the bandits. You can stand on the stables and shoot the AI with arrows. The AI could get there without having to jump or climb, but they never figure out how. They usually just end up standing in front of the covered ladder that leads to the roof, instead of just stepping onto it and attacking you You can also kill everyone before entering Vranik. The palisade allows arrows to pass through so you can shoot bandits through the higher gaps if you get on your horse. You don't even have to kill them because when they notice you, they glitch through the palisade and leave Vranik to attack you. Because the doorman doesn't move, you can eradicate the entire camp but the doorman will stay at the door and you'll still be able to enter And finally, if you glitch into Vranik without talking to the guard, you can find that the crimp is in there. That's the guy you're supposed to talk to after you get rid of Pious. If you kill him and then light the fire to talk to him and tell him you killed Pious, the game also ends up in an infinite loading cycle because he's dead. You'll also find the 2 bandits that are with him in that camp, which is why you found a strange die on someone

Yah, that bastard never loses his immortality :( Zbyshek or whatever, loses his immortality at a certain time which you can kill him, but Vanyek bah! And nice find with the glitch. The infinite load screen is a bummer, but also a gold sticker achievement because you found a way to break the game that the devs did not think it was possible :P

I remember Zbyshek seeing me murder the bandits before talking to Erik for the 2nd time and he ran to Sasau and got a guard who then arrested me and took me to Sasau. I could not regularily reenter Vranik afterwards and tried to talk to radzig and co but it gave me no options.

100% I have seen that too! Zbyshek just ruins everything, which I am glad we are able to off him multiple times during the game ;) But really I am impressed he was able to run that far to Sasau, usually NPC give up after a little run.

Easiest way to escape without Zyb's help is kill a guard and leave his body outside the door. Zyb will just open it because he freaked out at the body heh. Also you can use the barrel outside the dung heap to get back in. Just stand on the edge and jump backwards onto the walls.

The barrel is an interesting thing. I was trying to bust into the place originally using that barrel. But there seems to be some invisible wall there too for people. Not for arrows! The bandits posted there, you can shoot with arrows and they will run all around the edges. I have not tried jumping backwards there, but I do not think it will solve problems for the invisible wall :(

One time during that mission I opened a random empty chest with nothing in it. 10 seconds later, the whole camp was trying to fistfight me

Henry wanted a memento for his time at Vranik. Also, the guy has been killed once before in Skalitz and came back to life. I think Henry wants to keep an eye on him just in case he comes back to life.

Came back to playing KCD in the last days (and to your videos!). I found out that the gambler/player at Ledetschko is immortal, so you can basically chase him with arrows or whatever weapon infinitely to level. Unfortunately, he cannot be knocked out. Would be fun to trap him somehow so you don't have to run after him.

Yup, that is one of the special guys who are immortal in KCD that you can farm up their stats. I have counted three so far. (Excluding the Skalitz bugged people). No idea why, they need to be immortal, but they just have those tags that you can wail on them forever and they do not get knocked down. The gambler guy is problematic since he does take off running, but a slow, steady, stabbing works out great to build up those skills ;)

I will have to check again, but I 100% believe you. I am starting to get use to jumping around different areas with little fear and that area does look a bit low. And beef jumping in this area was slightly tricky, so the jump run around would be much easier.

@@helicalgoose it was a small town and everyone is infected but they dont know why. You have to talk to a bandit or somthing and then get help from a doctor guy who gives you a book to read to diagnose the infection. if remember correctly i couldnt talk to the guy I needed to because he was behind a key only lock or somthing and the other guy I was supposed to talk to was broke somehow by refusing to talk to me over and over again I cant remember the exact details I'm pretty new to the game but that was on my first playthrough thought it might be a good video idea for you! So yeah the melthor one

@@Xrayhalo Yah that is Meljhor quest I think it is called Pestilence? Something like that. Yah the way to go by the story for "good" Henry, is that you need to go to Sassu to the monastery hospital area and talk to the doctor there. I think you have to be on good terms with them to get Joanna and the monk to come out. To be honest, it is sort of mystery quest to figure out that the water is bad and you need to make a potion for it to cure all the people. Once people are cured the main guy will let you go talk to the bandit and you can have a good time. Now, if you're playing bad Henry and do not care about reputation at all, or prison time in the town, you can just kill the guard at the door, open the door then kill the bandit and I believe he has record or some paper on him to advance the quest. So, stab away your problems :P And I think I briefly look at trying to mess with this quest, but it might take a little more time thinking outside the box. The standard ways I have been trying have not been breaking it in the past, but give it time ;)

lol Henry is use to fighting whole cuman regiments so this was a warm up ;)

Funny enough, there's a cart in the house to the right at 14:44. You can crouch beneath the handles to get behind it and enemies can't follow you. I found this on my first playthrough and cleared out the camp after the interrogation with my bow.

There is more coming of course :) But honestly I am running through all the good missions quite quickly and beef can only cure so many problems :P Though I am still hunting for the elusive "reading and speech" exploit. There has to be one out there! *Shakes fists*

@@jorda229 This is the true way to do the quest ;) Honestly it is one of the few uses of getting lockpick up to a certain level to get through that door and kill that guy. Technically you can get in through the roof instead of lockpicking but either way. 100% agree with you. I do feel bad that someone put some hard work into making this quest but jeez it is such an annoying quest to do the "right" way.

@@jorda229 Yup and I think that is another thing that made the quest terrible. Of course the bugs or either the rule set you had to follow exactly. But with the bugs, following exactly the rules made it almost impossible to not get caught for skipping work or being out of pray or whatever. So I am avoiding doing the monastery quest until I win the lotto or the pope comes to bless me. Well ok maybe sooner than that, but it might not be that fun for me haha.

Glad you enjoyed it! Some of these videos during this time was really fun to make. They sort of just happened which was great!

You can get in to Vranik early in the game, it's not blocked off... but early on in the story no one is there and the walls aren't properly set up. Wow on them not attacking you if you don't talk to the guy. I was sure skipping getting in they'd be aggressive. Yeah I killed a lot of them on a roof that's connected by a plank of wood. "Gone weak in the knees?" *Shoots in face* "Gone weak in the face?" LOL at the throwing torches as weapon. "Don't you recognise me?" "Of course I do, it's the guy I want to kill which doesn't make you very special" :D Very nice on being able to kill him though I get it on you thinking it could have been good on keeping him alive to see if he kept up with the asking if you need help. I'd doubt it though. I'd say it'd have him do the dialogue that skips you to Rattay

Yah the place before this quest is empty to a extent. There is a sacrifice table sort of thing out here. Not certain with lore. Could be an interesting story I am missing. I should look more into this. And even being outside the gate, if you go around the back, the bandits can see you, but they do not attack until you shoot them. But even then, if you hide and they come running outside to check the last location, they are not aggressive. Quite odd, but guess you can't have bandits attacking a guest. And with Zbyshek I agree. I was thinking the same thing at the time. That if I did not kill him and get outside the gate, it would probably just send him outside too. Would've been funny to have this guy asking me if I wanted to be let out if that was possible. :P I do not know if that would've broken the game that way, by sending you back to the mission start to escape if you were already away interesting interesting indeed.

Vranik pre-bandits looks like it contains a couple unimplemented quests... That table, for example, looks like one .

Nice stuff. I’m about to do this quest. Maybe not this way though 😂 I just played the ‘robber baron’ quest, dang the guards horses are glitchy. I wonder if you could go into Minolta(or whatevers) camp and kill everyone before you battle him ?

That is a good one to try to out. In my first play through of KCD I almost quit the game because a bug in that quest basically made it impossible to complete. And especially how tough that battle can be, good gravy. I think I had to repeat the whole things and few others which took about 3 hours to do over. Whew I was not happy.

@@helicalgoose oh really! I never knew about any additional quests with Hans until I finished the main quest, and you can’t do any of them. So I started again and just did them. The battle went pretty well no of our guys died and all of them did, I personally wouldn’t try to kill them all by myself, but I’m sure your Henry would be game!

On the night raid mission on talmberg castle I killed all the guards by dropping down a ladder with a bow but i didnt bring enough beef to climb into the tower and save radzig, you might be able to finish the game early that way :)

I honestly do not think you can get into the tower with beef jumping, just because you can not save the game. :( So even if you brought the beef you can not get in there. But you can get in there after the fight in Talmberg and you're suppose to ride after Sir Radzig. His character is still in the tower and he does not leave, so you can get in there at that time. ;)

Hmm, afaik when fleeing Vranik the game auto-fast travels you back to Rattay (with or without Zbyshek), not sure why you had to walk all the way back, the game shouldn't care if he's dead. During the escape section the game clock is frozen at 3:00 and only unfreezes after you've jumped over the fence and escaped. I prefer to murder the camp during this period of darkness, it's creepier for them lol. Also if you let Zbyshek live and get him to accompany you back to Rattay, you can betray him and have him jailed, possibly to await execution. Frankly I think this is a more fitting fate for him rather than granting him an easy death.

I like the way you think! I was a bit surprised too with killing Zbyshek it would not let me fast travel or call my horse until I got back into the cut scene area in Rattay. I still have the save file, and randomly go to it, to make some other videos. I get slightly miffed because I am calling for my horse but I can't, and I can't fast travel like wtf! But I think the reason the game cares if he is dead or not, is that the game was expecting to put out the cut scene with him and you walking back to Rattay. Its one of those things you can't avoid without killing him first. Strange thing. I also wonder if I escape from there and did not talk to him at all. Would he just be sitting in the prison area still asking if I willing to be let go forever? I am not sure. hmmm..

@@helicalgoose I accidentally fell off the cliff during my first escape because it was dark lol but somehow I survived - the game automatically advanced to Rattay and played the solo escape cutscene, and failed the "speak with Zbyshek" objective (he was no longer anywhere there went I checked later). Not sure why the game didn't automatically send you back to Rattay, I just assumed that would always trigger the moment you were X distance away from Vranik and it only checked whether you got Zbyshek to escape with you to decide which cutscene to play (one where you return by yourself, the other with Zbyshek).

@@pjavilla From I can gather, is that the game assumes that Zbyshek will let you out of the prison no matter what. Getting out of the prison without his help sort of breaks the game just slightly. So when I jumped out, the game was still thinking I was in prison or something? Hard to say. The thing that I will agree with you is that the hill around that town is insane. I think I killed myself escaping from that place before because of that hill :P

As per usual the game crashed during the mission and then I did it again and it crashed again. One more time and it worked.

I like to think that KCD is running Windows 2000 in the background of the game. Its the only way I can explain how the game crashes during certain missions non-stop and works sometime after you restarted it so often!

Nice the witcher ost xdd (skellige if im not mistaken) Edit: I passed from that point is tw3 ost in general.

It is great music! I am amazed by how often it gets overlooked. But then again, while playing Witcher 3 the music sort of blends in perfectly with the game and we are all too preoccupied being sucked into the world. Now I feel like I should go back to enjoy the game once again!

You have been sneaking into my game play folders lol Honestly I have been trying, but Henry's siege engine (The beef tower) needs some work. There is invisible walls all around and the moat is really getting to me to make a stable beef tower. I have been work on it for awhile, which almost caused last week's video to be late because I spent so much time trying to get into Talmberg. I thought it would've been easy to get in there, but they showed me.

@@helicalgoose Lol, it's weird, that the invisible are there, because you can't get there without beef jump. So here's another idea: Try to do it at night mission, before Hans and guards get there, and try to trigger alarm before they get there. Also, you can try another things to break the there.

@@vojjta2410 Yah believe it or not I have been looking at that too. I sort of stop short at this mission because I do believe I can bust into Talmberg as a siege expert. You can kill some of the bandits inside the castle by shooting them from the outside. Some poke their heads over the walls and boom you can kill them, but that doesn't break anything :( I just need to keep working at it, something will come up. It only takes one miracle jump to do it ;)

Hmm from what I remembered no. What happened is that a guard led me in like normal, then there was no mention of Zbshek at all. I am guessing it just played the option if you tell Zbshek to go to heck instead of giving him a reward. It seems this time, the boy stays dead ;)

I tried it today. I counted 34 corpses. Vanek is immortal, but it's a pity.

I actually never counted all the bodies, but 34 is a pretty big number if you had to fight all of them at once :O And Vanek is just a bastard, can't kill him personally unless you break the game to get to his butt :P

@@helicalgoose I killed them all, one by one, luring them out in pairs and threes. Most of them were killed by arrows, five or six died happy - in their sleep. Zbyszek was 35th, after escaping. Zbyszek is a damned traitor, there's no need to drag him to the city. P.S. I didn't climb the tower, there is no room for maneuver.

Yah the tower is a bad move if you're good at fighting :P I sort of just like it because, I like to have the congo line of people coming up one by one and all their bodies are nicely put in one area. :D

You have to be my favorite KZreadr of all time. I’ve played kingdom come like 1000 times because of you lol. (Rip my 2 consol save slots) If you ever want music for your channel I would love to make something for you. (Unabashed plug incoming) My band “afterthoughts”has a songs on Spotify. Ones called “Match Made In Custody” (plug over) Also I love how you say “friggen jeRk” bc that’s what I say every time the guards in skalits resist my stealth take down.

lol RIP to consol save slots. My save slots are wondering WTF I am doing a lot of times. If you have some links to your music like youtube or what not I can take a look at it and see if it fits into a video and I can give you the due credit and all :) I do love musicians, it is an underrated talent to have. I do have to say I do not have spotify which I was asking for a different link if possible :)

I wonder whethr you can enter vranik without compelting pious quest :D its probably locked location before tho...

You sure can, but the place is an empty area with some strange pagan stuff. The fort does not appear until you take "care" of Pious. It would be fun to go in there and start the mission early but sadly you cannot.

I really want to, I have been trying in the past, but it is sort of hard locked by invisible walls. There is a slight chink in the armor on the castle gates that I might be able to get, but its been so finky, I have not been able to do it. I think you may have to go under the castle to break in, but I have no found a reliable way quite yet. :(

@@jajohannesson Yah I know :( But Someday I will figure out how to break into there. I am experimenting with making a horse turbine or something along that, to push Henry in, but it is quite unreliable and I do not fully understand why it happen.

So sad, I killed literally everyone in the camp then challenged Erik but nah he’s stuck as npc so I got stuck in a clinch barrage but since I can’t rly hit the important npc I jus got thrown around for a skid hr… fuck me for trying to go above and beyond by solo’ing the whole camp myself

lol the camp can be a challenge when three or four of those gnats surrounds you and puts you in the whirlly whirl, so no shame in that. I never was able to get Erik to come out as an NPC, there is that threshold that you cross and the cutscene happens. I might have to try some trickier next time for him ;)

Ah thanks! That is the best tip I have heard from anyone with the name. When I look at the whole name, my mind blanks out and I just say "Z-be-shrek!" I think its party due to anger with dealing with that guy. :P

i really like more your videos than that weird guy girl looking sexy bisquit, is so disgusting that that thing think hes the only youtuber making kcd content, keep it up bro!

Ah thanks :) And Sxybisqucit is really good at what they do. More of calm commentary KCD experience, with a little goofiness around. Sequentialgamer is really good at the in depth KCD experience. They really show the depth in what KCD offers. And I do things a bit differently. The good thing about youtube there is some type of content out there that you like to watch. :)

I'm not gonna hate on this video, but I don't understand how you aren't able to pronounce those very simple, laid out words, especially vranik, it's very easy if you look at it. Heres the proper Pronunciations: Vranik = "vra-nick," there's no easier way to put it. Zbyshek = "zib-ish-eck"

It is part of the classics to annoy people ;) Also I think it is mostly because I say things way too quickly. But also Zbyshek I will say that in English that there are very few words that start with z, especially with that combo. "shek" portion is easy, the front by a cursory look is a total wtf moment in my eyes, no idea why to be honest.

I love you but you have got to be dyslexic, I used to have something similar but more mild when I was young, and you DEFINITELY have something if you pronounce it "Vankreek" or any of the other names that are pronounced for you by characters in the game lol,

lol it might be. Hard to say. I do not think it has anything to do with reading, but more of my tongue being dumb :P But if I slow down I can pronounce anything correctly. There is only so much fun in that, when I can just go at break neck speeds and mispronounce everything :P

Ah yes, these earlier videos I was sort of more on an inside jokes with all the mispronunciations because I knew it drove some people crazy :P Though sometimes I think I do it on accident still because of how fast I talk where it the thought goes straight past the brain right into my mouth.

Ah, its been awhile since I have seen this video myself, but I am not certain what I said. I know you can get into Vranik before the tent city is even put up, but you can't get into the proper tent city till after the Monastery mission since it does not exist. (Somewhere around those missions). The Vranik before the tents put up are a bunch of ruins and something like a sacrifice table, nothing too interesting or nothing quest related from what I can tell.

Just go slow and sound out the names. Most of them sound the way they are spelled. I think you say the stuff so bad because you go in assuming it's some crazy European pronunciation when most of the time it's not.

You're about 99% correct on the slowing down part. The way I talk especially without a script, I sort of just go to first thing in my mind and fly with it. Slowing down would help out quite a bit on that end. Really I need to sort of do a practice run of some of the introductions and names before I start recording. That would help out a ton. The other thing would be to have more time too. I think this video I was really behind on time for recording/editing which led butcher all the names! The 1% I do not agree with is that sometimes there are words in Czech that letter sounds differently that I do not know and I butcher the name(s) even further lol.

Yup, I will keep that in mind. :) I have heard that War horse made it a bit simplified to make it easier on people like me :P

@@helicalgoose War horse really did help us. If they really wanted to do us dirty "silver skalitz" could have been "Stříbrná Skalice" and Rattay could have been "Rataje nad Sázavou" those are the real names of those real life places.
