I think they patched the trident offhand + mace combo u guys were doing at the end..if you look at the changelog it says “Minecraft: Java Edition MC-270499 Riptide trident in off-hand applies mace effects in main hand”

Last fight seemed better than totems. At least in rain, this should be superior to crystal pvp. Also now we might get some fights that don't go on forever. I'd imagine you'd want to swap to totem when you're lower, and mace when you're higher.

Yeah but crystal kinda counter mace, I bet marlow would do something if mace kits exist and people use it as a main in inventory kit.

if you use the trident and then hold the mace while in the dash effect it will auto hit them.

Im curious to see what the official kit is going to look like in the future

well, there was a bug that makes it so when you hit a target with riptide while holding the trident in your offhand, you still deal the damage of the item in your main hand not sure if it has been patched or not, but sounds kinda broken

I feel like this is going to turn into its own type of pvp now

Just letting you know 1. Thanks even tho u didn't use my comment I did as well ask for this 2. When using a trident with riptide while in riptide if u switch to another weapon you will automatically hit someone with that weapon, riptide is a melee attack so when hitting someone with it your trident will automatically hit them witch also means you can crit riptide hits

Too bad they nerfed the mace in the snapshot, much slower attack speed so stuff like this would be alot harder. Makes it fair, but I kinda like the sword timings for the mace.

Mace is going to get a strange nerf, it doesn't make sense for a weapon that is for pvp and made for that, but gets a delay of 0.5, let's settle for versions 1.20.6 or 1.20

if the other one doesent have mace or triedent💀

try killing the wither with a windburst mace. wither will stand no chance against you :)

There is mace PvP already

So glad they nerfed the damage and cooldown of the mace. Too op was an understatement. In the new snapshot the mace has the slowest attack cooldown and does 5 instead of 7 damage and density and breach cant be on the same mace. Also the trident thing at the end got patched.

yea they nerfed it's cooldown by a lot I think that completely kills wind burst combos because by the time the mace cooldown is over, you won't even be in the air to get the wind burst mace hit That sucks

@@lasow since 1.20.5 prerelease 1 wind burst only works after a smash attack and to do a smash attack you need the mace to be 85% loaded. If it’s not, you will get a pick hit and wind burst won’t work

Mace combos are literally opposite to bedrock combos (Bedrock combos: opponents flies in the air (at least for the better servers (hive)) and maces: person who combos flies through the air)
