Snake fruit, or salak, and yes, it's edible. It's sweet and crunchy. A must try fruit, but make sure to choose the ripe one.

You don't peel a dragon fruit. You cut a dragon fruit, and scoop the inside with a spoon, and straight into your mouth.

Wrong messy way to open the mangosteen 🤣 To open it, hold it in your right palm , cup it and use your left hand to help squeeze the mangosteen until it cracks open in the middle. There you go, you cut it in half. Some bad mangosteen will not crack this way because it is hard like stone (instead of soft fleshy skin), but that means it goes bad.
