i think the problem is we should be able to fly at a lower age its too slow pace and it rewards people who like to spawn kill

Hello, I'm unsure if you know what's been going on in the day of dragons discord. People have a big issue with this update. Then main problem is that there is a lack of food on pve servers. And that the game is unplayable for some people. And when people tried to give their Criticism about this update. The dev on the official discord started deleting messages and banning players, even people that were kickstarters.

I don't know a lot about what is going on, especially on their discord. I didn't invest a lot of hour or money in to this game to give a proper criticism, what I do give is a "new players" criticism or first impression and from the past videos you can tell that the game for me needed a lot of work because the key feature "Fun" and "Survival" were missing. I'm bias towards days of dragons although I don't like the game that doesn't mean I wont play it in the future if the dev updates the game right.

@KatoGameplays yah, I completely understand that. I had 167 hours in the game. But with the false promises and how the devs treat their community. I'm going to stay far away from this game.

@KatoGameplays most people were upset because this update has been in the making for almost 2 years and 80% of what they said is not in the game and now what was supposed to be in the update is now pushed back again to May. So people are rightly upset. With the history of this dev team, we might not get what was mentioned for another 2 years. Personally, I understand that it's not easy work. But don't tell me it will be in this update, then take it out a week before. That's what they were saying. Not to mention the fact that the original game is further and development than this current state of the game. The only real thing they updated was 2 new dragons, a new map, an Unreal 5. No bug fixes were taken care of. And for most people, they can't even play it on the lowest settings. The lowest requirement was a 970 graphics card. I believe.

​@RainingFreedom97 in beawesome stream the lead dev said it would have tooken another 6 months. That's telling me they've been sitting on their butts for the last 5 years not doing much. Then said that "Well you need to be patient with us"

These are the things we have to deal with yet the devs won't give us basic server rules to prevent kosing. Dod makes me feel like I'm playing a Roblox creature survival game, even down to the micro transactions.

So rn day of dragons 1.0 is extremely terrible lots of things they said was coming to the update was left out until future updates, lots and lots of bugs, kinda impossible to play it due to optimization problems, and extremely hard to survive past baby. On the day of launch they said it was going to release at 12pm in the afternoon but they delayed it up to 5 hours saying they need to work some bugs out. After that they said it was steams fault but that turned out to be a lie because during the live stream the lead dev said "Now im going to release it". Also during it he was making up excuses trying to gain pity like saying it was his fathers birthday. After the release it was struggle to get into a server and after you got in even on low setting your game would crash or it would freeze and you had to manually stop it or restart your computer (Still doing that till this day). Once you start playing the baby killing was horrendous you could barely survive 5 minutes and its still like that. What they left out in the update was Ai as a 3rd of the map had bug spawns but the rest was either water but no food, swamp snappers, death worm, sand biome, nurse dragon, breeding, blitz striker, skin system, and elemental. In conclusion Beawesome games has not changed at all since the KS and still is lying about their game

To be honest.. I would wait a little longer until more updates came out. D: The dragon you played has a bug with its tail getting bigger and also nightvision has to be fixed.

PS: How cool! Your journey here was kinda like mine where I walked in a forest as an Shadow Scale and another came in. Also and white Acid Spitter. First thought they wanted to kill me, but the stayed with me all the way I was big enough. It is really nice if you can have that experience in the game. I mean I like it, but it could need a lil more here an there. Hope the fixes and stuff are coming with the next few updates.

Unfortunately for PVP servers, hatchling killing is quite prevalent, it's sometimes a better food source than the bugs. It's also less competition for food when you're sharing an area. Or just great practice ^^" Always assume they will unalive you, there are servers that have implemented a thing where solo players can't be hurt by clans, but that's as much of an improvement as there has been on the hatchling killing since last update

They lost me with the Acid-Spitter DLC. They already got way more money on the Kickstarter then they bargained for and only had one other playable and they released a DLC that wasn't cosmetic no, it was a whole other playable. While being in Early Access aswell. That smells like a greed and a money grab to me.

I agree, don't waste your money. Content is locked behind pawalls or exclusives. You can be "nested" without paying, that's if players aren't bias towards you.

@@cfowler7936 a large majority of the community is very courteous. I’ve been playing on official servers and have had easy access to exclusive dragons and skins. So long as you don’t have a history of being toxic, most will oblige nesting you if you ask.

@@RogueT-Rex8468 So access to exclusives/DLCs depends if people believe you deserve it? And if you can't afford or didn't get the chance to get an exclusive, you are at a disadvantage on a major clan pvp games. Reeks of Pay to Win if you ask me.

Sooo what happened to Unreal Engine? And that test map they were playing with. This looks nothing like that. I hope this isnt the actual final product.

​@@dominus445 DoD is the only game I've known to blame their players for the frame rate issues they report to him. Rather than optimisation, Jao instead settles on accusing people of being haters or too poor to play his game. While Path of Titans has cross play capabilities on hand held devices.
