Bios may not have to compete as much for food, but there are only so many nice spots around the map with flowers to hang out in. Can't really go exploring with other dragon friends when you don't have any food nearby for yourself (as a bio)

This is more of an issue in Pvp I've heard since you can't hang around water where the food spawns for too long. Hopefully this will be fixed when more AI are put in.

@@JamesSmit-kr5xtI am sorry mate but even if you did have dx12 you still need a pretty beefy PC to run this game, they are recommending a 3070 and my friend on a 4060 can only run the game on medium to high graphics

One thing I will add that I don't know if you mentioned in the video (I haven't watched the entire thing yet) is that the inferno ravager's wings have INDIVIDUAL TERRAIN ALIGNMENT! So whether you're running, crouching, sitting, standing still, sleeping, etc., your inferno's wings will actually sit on whatever terrain is under them properly. This means that if you're on a slope, the wings will individually align themselves to that slope, or if you're in a rocky area, your wings will sit properly on the different rocks and not clip with anything! It looks so cool and it's AMAZING for screenshots, and just a small detail that I appreciate so so so much. They may or may not have also given the dragons' feet individual terrain alignment, but I haven't noticed if they did.

I absolutely cannot wait for the Blitz to come out, it will be a while, but it’ll be worth the wait to see a Blitz in a storm terrorizing an Asd pack

These changes are nice but im dissapointed with map. Few important places are nice like lake island, arch and other "main" places, but rest of map don't look good. Most dissapointing point was where i discovered nearly exactly the same ravine and river(which one you can walk on water) I know it will be improved but i even discovered empty texture. About texture: there are plenty of places where textures are tiling, even in cave. I hope they change map because it still looks empty like early beta and not full 1.0 release.

the cave tiles your talking about is because that is a temporary wall until they get the caves in the game, the outer areas of the map are being added in with each update no worries it will be just as full as the center of the map and the river is a known thing they are working on. no worries it will get better

want to say that you cannot change time as admin at the moment (said to be coming with the weather commands and blitz release) and you can still move your head when asleep. Done this as the shadow scale. the spined scrab (the meatball) can also bug out and ping to a different location when dropped.

type in chat /help. a list will then spawn with what the player can do. only admins will see the admin commands if they type this.

the content creator skin pearl you can get by winning it from an official content creator, some of the skins are exclusive to kickstarter and patreon. but some of the pearls you have to find when they add in the fantasy aspect of the game.

im kinda sad that we are not able to spawn as the Blitz yet but im not saying that the uppdate wasnt good!

Has anyone else had any problems with out Memory crashes? I have a fairly beefy pc but im having crashes that basically make the game unplayable

Nobody seems to know exactly why that happens yet. I've heard people get it even on low settings. Haven't experienced it myself yet. You could try the optimization option in the settings to see if it helps.

Random noob question.... 1vs1 inferno & ASD, which one has advantage?

Inferno ability removes asd debuff. But the winner depends on the terrain. If the asd is caught in the open the inferno can just fly over and flame the asd. But if the battle is in a forest the asd can run around without being seen and take bites when the inferno lowers its guard. Inferno does more damage and has more health so the asd has to play perfectly to win.

Played it today for the first time. But it feels very barebone. What about castels and knights and sheep and deer and so on. I crave a dragon game where you support a kingsdome maybe or fight one. I dont care if its MMO or Singleplayer.

Ngl day of dragons is fun and all but there is really nothing that you can do. Sure there is the global chat and pvp but those are kinda the base parts of survival games. No real goal other than to grow.

at the moment yes you are correct, but things are getting added to the game, its a true dragon survival game, just like the isle is a dinosaur survival game, however once they add in the fantasy section of the game then you will have quests and will need to collect pearls from such quests.

@@CallmePancakegaming The KS funded 500,000 but is what we have now worthy of that 500,000? The survival mechanic is barebones. The AI is limited to easy to target food that is barely anywhere. There are many cosmetic skins, and its got to the point of additional emotes pack. For the longest time, the only map was the desert. These are all facts and cannot be refuted. For 500,000 indeed, perhaps no one could have oh, made this game like it is? You judge it for yourself. I like the game.I spent a hundred hours of it. But because of this, my critics can only overflow more. The PvP servers are toxic. The PvE servers still have no content because there are no enemies. How many years has it been, and we have only reached 1.0 now? How much online drama for this one game? Clearly you still have hope. I lose more hope everytime I come back to check on the progress, yet for the sake of nostalgia its still on my computer. Right now it is a flying, sleeping, roleplaying simulator. Maybe that is all you need. Yes, money is needed... but to what end? Its an investment when on KS, and an investment even now in EA. Perhaps, it will stay an investment forever. Sorry for the long text. Seeing you reply like that, I can only say that maybe you can still hold into that hope for a few more years. That's not it for me, and you cannot in good conscience encourage people to buy it in its current state. Please don't reply, because I'm sure we will only continue disagreeing.

I'm still getting the red scent lines where there's an invisible body that some can see and others cant. Also frankly the map lacks personality, there's plenty of open space for what??? There's hardly any food accept where hatchlings spawn in and all the good food is owned and camped by clans. Hatchie killing is just something people have to do to get by now on official pvp servers. It drives people off the game.

Ive been playing since release of update 1 and i still think that the environment still needs more polishing. it feels so stiff to play. the dragons in legacy "feels better" to play with. idk how to explain lol the information tab looks so cartoonish as well lol anyway, i think i will be hated for this but mehh i need to let it out lol

@@CallmePancakegaming hell no, the game is still the same as 2 years ago, this is the most shameless buggy, laggy and optimised with ass game i've seen i' a while. Never seen a map that empty, there is no food, there is almost no water, you can't play solo at all if you didn't spawned at the right place and have to wait about 30 minute to spawn at a better place. This game was horseshit and still is horseshit. Maybe it'll get better at some point but this isn't the case right now. At all. If you're ok being mocked by the devs go ahead and enjoy, but i really don't.

You still get 5 emotes... The other emotes are up to you if you want to purchase them. Just like you get skins in fortnite but if you want the john wick skin you pay for it. No shame in this.

@@YaBoiGuzma actually only one dragon in the game thus far is dlc. and its not locked there. you can be nested in as any dragon in the game. as far as the emotes whats the difference between an emote and a skin, its literally just a cosmetic item that if you want it you pay for it.

@@CallmePancakegaming Actually there are two that are dlc. You get three free ones and the rest are from temporary campaigns long since pass. Why is nesting being used as a workaround to access those dragons? I guarantee you half the people wanting to play pvp or solo ain't gonna want to deal with bigger clans just for a chance to get the dragon they want. Don't even bother bringing up PvE either. Stop making excuses for them.

Just do me a favor if you don't like the game or content about this game don't watch it and don't play it. That's what I do with 60% of the games out there. Not waste your time trashing something that isn't for you yet other people enjoy.

their is no scam. the only scam committed was the scam of people that told you it was a scam because they used purchased assets for the original proof of concept. if you think that is a scam then you should never play any video game because they all have them. I have seen purchased assets in god of war all the way to madden. EVERY studio uses them.

@@CallmePancakegaming Just because "Every Studio Uses Them" doesn't mean those games also are not a scam, Day of Dragons is nothing but a cash grab for the creator aka the scammer, Yeah you can say that with other games like Path of Titans with their bundles and what not. But the key difference here, is simply how they develop their game and the way they treat their audience, you are already paying or a game just so you can, what, play as one dragon?, which is ridiculous, all the dragons should be playable from the start and not DLC, there could be really good DLC ideas for this game but it was quite literally a scam in the past and still is a scam now. I mean at least other games know how to use their assets properly and treat and respect the player base without being yeeted out of the discord for questioning the creator, if the game wasn't a scam the creator would very likely accept being questioned but he doesn't simply meaning, he is still scamming people and banning the people from his discord. The only reason the game has positive reviews is simply because of Bot spam reviews and all that random stuff. The game was a scam ages ago and it still is a scam now and there's evidence of it everywhere you look, so i will die on this hill that Day of Dragons will stay a scam and always will be.

A scam is illegal your verbage is wrong and puts you in legal danger. Next you get to play as 5 dragons currently with more in development so you're wrong there. Granted one is a dlc. One is a Kickstarter stretch goal but you can still get nested in as both. Now for your issue with how they run their discord... Do you know what I do on my discord with people who are not respectful? I ban them. So oh well you don't get to trash them in their discord. Basically everything you said is wrong. As long as people like the game and play it you are wrong. Now move on and quit harassing people who are playing and enjoying day of dragons.

This is still empty game looking extremely clunky. Meh..
