Hi from rainy Los Angeles 🙋‍♀️ Looks like it's "Boat Week"! Your brekkie is the second "boat meal" I've watched this week on KZread. The other being on "Bill and Lisa's Food and Travel". They had a spectacular brunch on our local boat, the Queen Mary, down here, in Long Beach. Your brekkie looked like a very well prepped plate! The tomato impressed me most! So many places seem to serve tomatoes a bit undercooked these days.

I've never had a meal like this being from California,but seen all the videos, love ur stuff, i would fancy seeing some greens like maybe spinach with fresh garlic, in place of mushrooms and tomatoes like you had a toby carvery, i know that was just buffeet style but that looked like the best plate of food ive seen from the breakfast

£11 more than worth it, It looks absolutely delicious , When cooking breakfast at home I do all the twos two egg, two bacon, two sausages, two slices of fried bread two mushrooms job done, I’m terribly sorry to admit I don’t bother with the black pudding or the hashbrowns . Just saying.

Novel venue. Looked a good plate of food at a very fair price. Thanks for taking us along.

Where I get my breakfasts they always ask ‘how would you like your toast’ and i say ‘well done’. Personally I hate toast that looks so white that it looks as if it was just got out of a packet and waved under a match.

What a lovely Venue to dine out & something different too.This is one of the nicest breakfasts I've seen. Lovely presentation & quality produce, the Bacon & Eggs especially!! I liked the venue it made it a little more interesting

I say go back there for lunch. This might be a local restaurant you can get some mileage from. The meal looked great, and while this isn't the best time to show outdoor sitting, during the spring that might be a great view.

Very impressed indeed - especially for £11! Next time I stay in Leeds I will surely have a breakfast their.Only missing HP sauce and black pudding to make it 10/10 but still a fantastic 9/10 for me.😊

@@mikekaraoke I know this might sound controversial, but as a child, I grew up on brown wholemeal bread, and absolutely hated it, However 9 times out of 10 it's brown bread for me nowadays, every now and again I will treat myself to a white slice, I know it sounds boring, but we have to think of our Health. @@mikekaraoke If you've been jumping on the bread baking wagon lately, you might be wondering: which is healthier, brown bread or white bread? Most people believe brown bread, otherwise known as wholemeal or whole-wheat bread, is better for our health than white. And according to most nutritionists, you'd be correct. Wholegrain products contain more fibre and nutrients than their white counterparts. However, it is not necessarily so clear-cut. A study in 2017 published in Cell Metabolism found no overall benefit in health measures for those who ate wholegrain sourdough bread over white. Some people did better on whole-wheat, while others benefited more from white bread. Researchers suggested 'one size fits all' dietary advice may not always be true. Scientists from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel selected 20 healthy participants who ate bread regularly. They were divided into two groups to eat a specific amount of either white bread or wheat sourdough. This was for a week then there was a washout period and they tried the alternate bread for a week. The bread amounted to a quarter of their daily calories. The main aim of the study was to look at the effect on glucose and glucose handling in the body. The researchers measured the participants glucose, fat and cholesterol levels. They found, contrary to popular belief that there were no clinically significant differences between the effects of the two types of bread. Within the results different people seemed to react in different ways to the breads so it was suggested some results may have cancelled each other out in the data. The researchers said the results reflected the idea that general one-size-fit-all diets won't work because people respond to the same foods differently - likely due to change in their gut bacteria.

Used to go to dry dock all the time when i was 18 or 19 before gigs at leeds uni. Was a cool place.

Breakfast did look very good, and yes i think it was worth the price .Good review

Yes worth it

Only ever visited Leeds so impressed by the originality of venue no doubt a go to eatery. Breakfast looked up to scratch based your review, wasn't sure quality of sausages but £10/11 going rate these days for a decent full English and cupper.. Certainly venue to visit..

On a similar theme there is a fish and chip restaurant boat called McMonagles that actually sits on the Forth and Clyde canal in the Clydebank area of Glasgow and it is superb.

A delicious-looking breakfast at a good price. Really glad to see that you are visiting more interesting places than chain restaurants.

I just love the way you combo to the end. That’s me too. Great venue great food great portion and a really great price. It must be kinda getting cold by the time you individually taste everything before the combos though. 👍

I like your style, overdubbing on the eating and a final quick review talking. It would probably be good if you talk us through it as well but it worked well. That breakfast looked fantastic value and the attention to detail was outstanding for the price.

That Bacon Needs To Be Cooked More For My Liking

Next time you get dried beans, put a couple of teaspoons of your tea in them, or more if you need it, you’ll never know from the taste, unless you add sugar to your tea 😉

That's a great value breakfast in a fantastic location. The clip of you pouring the tea a.t 2:40 had me running out to the kitchen to put the kettle on, It looked like a great cup of tea

Its well worth a try

Very novel place that looks like it would be great to hang at in the evening. Judging by the menu, prices are ok too. Wish I knew what a Dough ball was. Perhaps similar to garlic knots at a pizzeria. Breakfast looked good too.

I think 90% of us given good ingredients could cook a top quality breakfast. It's a simple meal that's almost impossible to get wrong.

I think £11 pounds is BANG ON - London prices oh my god - but maybe 2 quid cheaper elsewhere but these are pennies savings. Great place thank you

Lincolnshire sausages the best hashbrowns are amazing breakfast on a boat is a brilliant idea

13 item breakfast for £11 was that including the drink I guess so. but we do not have a breakdown of breakfast cost and drink cost. very small bean count. but it did look good.

I thought the bacon could have been crisper ( personal preference) And,this is for all caterers every where. Great looking brekkie, one bug bear for me, and it seems everywhere does it, is perching the toast on the side of the plate the breakfast is on, which I think should be on a separate side plate, which makes it easier to butter and not in the way of the breakfast itself. But that’s just my opinion, just like I don’t like beans or hash browns with a full English, 😂

Like everyone else, I thought plated up it looked very delish and respectable. Although imo probably would have preferred it on a bigger plate so I could cut into everything separately (if that makes sense rather than lifting or through other things).

Even Noah has to make a living in between apocalyptic floods. Lose an egg , add black pudding and a few more beans and I'd say it was perfect 👍 You can have a steak on a plane in Bolton 🤣

Should have not hidden the bacon. Best to use a larger plate as would have looked super impressive!

It looked really nice but i thought the plate was overcrowded, it would have been better having the toast on a separate plate. The beans were a bit dry. Good value too

Great looking beakfast for £11, with a pot of tea. But as you say, no black pudding which for me is a real shame. You can keep the hash browns, this was never part of an English Breakfast, until it got americanised. If potatoes are served they should be scalloped potatoes fried.

Looks good but the toast needs it's own plate as it is taking up too much room

I don't like small plates when some of the food is hidden, as a presentation I need to see everything on the plate and almost all restaurants serve on small plate with maybe 10 items on why don't they just change the plate to accommodate all items for better presentation

You have no idea!

I really must question these breakfasts.Are we as greedy as Americans? I understand the need for a very big meal,if you worked on a building site. But for many of us ,to eat a meal this big is just greedy. Last act BRITISH and stop being greedy.

What a letdown. I thought you'd be on a small rocking boat in the North Sea...... That would have been funny to watch.
