If you're struggling with watercolor edges...
Here's one thing you can try in a variety of cases.
I find that the more I can let water & the paint do the painting - the better the result is.
I'm personally still working on REMOVING as much of myself in the form of interference in the process.
I hope this helps some out there (:

Omg, I was struggling with edges soooo much! And I think trying to soften the edges after applying the paint is such an advanced technique that I'm not ready for lol. Thank you, LiRon! I wil try this today!

Thank you! Happy this may prove useful to many 😁🙏
Great example. I’ve always tried to protect the highlight by keeping it dry. Totally new idea to me-and I can see how helpful it will be. Thank you!!
Where do you start the videos to get control of watercolor?
This is a game changer and I feel so dumb not realizing this would be the best way! Lol I use wet in wet so much, and didn't even think to allow the water to move the paint seamlessly AROUND a shape to make a highlight. I've always just lifted, sometimes scrubbed (which obviously can damage cotton paper if it's a high staining pigment). Wow. Thank you so much! Sincerely, A Watercolor artist who's never studied watercolors
