Salicylic acid fights with active acne but it wll not remove acne marks

It's a request, if you are beginners to active ingredients, never start with salicylic acid at the first place, even in low concentration it is very strong.

@@user-pm9ei6mz6c i have sensitive skin oily + acne it work for me... i use salicylic acid serum 3 days a week not everyday ..so it's working well with cleanser..nd they have mention on package that u can use salicylic serum with cleanser nd moisturizer which contains salicylic acid..

Others : Thinking to get a bottle of serum right away !!! Me : Thinking what to do if all the problems exists 🤔 🙄😳😨

Please start with 5% niacinamide…even dermats recommends only 5%. My combination-oily skin became extremely dry and started flaking out after using a 10% niacinamide from the ordinary. Now I switched to be minimalist 5% niac+ 1% HA, and all is going well☺️

In Lab Muffin's video on the topic she suggested blending a sunscreen preferably liquidy/creamy(as it's easier to blend compared to silicone based ones) using a beauty blender. I recommend checking out the ful video.

I use dermaco mineral based powder sunscreen. It's very easy to use. Just do your full makeup and apply sunscreen on your face at last. It has an inbuilt brush applicator.

Switch to any brand with 2-5% niacinamide. 10% can cause too much irritation for alot of people, myself included. So don't waste your money down the drain, with niacinamide less is more. Also start watching Dr. Shereene Idriss/Dr Dray videos on niacinamide on youtube, they are dermatologists and give sound advice.

@@shwetakhedkar2708 I started my skincare journey with Niacinamide and i chose 10%. I have combination skin and i get acne occassionally based on the weather and my skin condition. At first I used it twice a week 3 drops for whole face. Then I started using it 3 times a week after a month. Please patch test on your skin before you start. I don't know your skin type. 5% is safer to use but Niacinamide is usually harmless and tolerant to all skin types. Use with caution. For me Ordinary Niacinamide was perfect. It have 1% zinc if you are allergic to it you can consider other option like plum Niacinamide.

The plum serum is my go to serum.....cant stay without it....all thanks to u😘

I agree with all these but instead of dermaco i would suggest cosrx blackhead power essence , yes it is costlier but u get 100 ml and it is way gentler.

It’s better to work on the diet and mindset than listening to bunch of skincare influencers and wasting money on products

Despite a very well maintained diet and mindset, the skin has specific requirements for some( some people are blessed, sure).. For them, these will actually work . It did for me. Not these particular brands. But these ingredients do work miraculously. You should know when and how to use them though. Knowledge is power.

@@anusree5910 if your just starting with salicylic acid serum then first patch test it and then if it suits your skin then you can start using it initially for 2-3 times a week for 2-3 weeks and gradually increase it to using everyday.

I am using the derma Co 2% salicylic acid serum for my oily acne prone skin I really liked it

I bought that Plum rice water serum.That was my very first serum.
