I love ANY TIME it’s just Kwesi and Zach because when the two of them are together there’s essentially suddenly nothing but half a brain cell just vibing in empty space with copious giggling and it’s delightful.

My grandma learnt to swim at 23, she then went on to teach her two kids as well as a bunch of their friends, me and my sister and my two cousins. It's never too late and she used to say it's the only sport that learning can save your life, which might not technically be true if you count stuff like boxing but you get what she meant.

Watching Kwesi forget about his fear to serve in front of the camera was amazing! He was working it!

Kwesi was immediately nailing posing and using the tail, he looked natural and good as hell. He even swam upside down, that's freaking awesome!

I'm a trans man, been on hormones 3+ years and I'm post top surger. I've never been curvy but my dysphoria tells me that my hips and tummy are still too shapely. But I always love videos when Zach is shirtless. Because Zach is a handsome guy and is so cool. I see a cis man shaped just like me and I'm just happy to see representation that I so heavily relate to. So man-to-man: from one nerdy pot head that went to film school to another. Thank you for being so open, honest, and doing your best to build confidence. It's inspiring

They both killed it! I'm especially impressed by Kwesi, he only knew how to swim for a couple months and he was serving such confident poses, and such elegance too! His niece must be so proud of him!

Wonderful video! As a professional mermaid I'd also like to clarify that this is an intesive sport: it requires a lot of core strength and strong swimming skills. Please be aware of this and do lots of research if you are getting into this hobby! Don't buy from shady companies, practice quick release from your monofin, make sure you can pass a basic swim test and never swim alone/without supervision! ❤

As someone who works at a pool, PLEASE do not bring mermaid tails to the public pool. They can be dangerous because you can't use your legs like normal, ESPECIALLY for kids

I wouldn't say don't bring them. I would say don't bring extras for others or let others use your tail! I always check in with the public pool staff and ask them if it's okay for me to bring my monofin/tail in first. I explain how long I've been swimming in it and explain what I do for my own safety. I offer to show them me swimming in it first so that they can see and make a judgement from there. I've had a lot of cautious or concerned people but they're usually okay with it. I have taught people in my monofin before but only people who show me they can swim well first and never before having them just sit on the shallow end stairs in it and after a discussion with them about how it is not for everyone and can be dangerous because you can't just split your legs to stand. Rather than telling people not to do this perhaps education of the staff on the safety use of tails and monofins and what to look out for would be a better option to start with! Lots of mers and mer schools offer these types of classes for free to public swim places!

There's a reason most public pools say no breath holding exercises unless you're in a specialty class where there are experts there to provide that additional attention.

Mermaid tails can be used with proper training and equipment. I consider it the same as scuba gear, there are ways to be safe but I wouldn't just hand people gear and expect them to be safe. There are even mermaid certifications you can now get from PADI and NAUI to demonstrate that you are properly trained in mermaid equipment.

The cloth ones are relatively inexpensive, even with the monofins. Sun Tails have them too, and mine held up to being dragged around the house without a monofin for quite some time.

This video was pure joy! They killed it (is anyone else SLIGHTLY curious seeing Euguene as a mermaid I feel like he would have ATE the modeling as much as Zach and Kwesi did)
