TRX6 third diff stretch it’s about one hour to do and all you need for parts are:
Traxxas TRX4 rear diff Cable part # 8284
Traxxas TRX4 Drive shaft part # 8250
Bigger shocks 100 MM will work or you can go the way I did and use these parts:
GPM shock mount upper four pack part #
trx 4029FR
GPM axle mount suspension links Front and rear part # trx 4089
GPM axle mount suspension links rear part # trx 4009
GPM wheel spacers 12mm part # trx 6010/12
You will be able to get all these parts at your local hobby store. If you can’t contact EXTREME RC ( www.extremerc.ca ) telephone number (780-402-2996) they will be able to help you.
Now onto the build Everything will move back and go in factory holes. ( you will have to drill holes in the frame for 2.2 XL to get more distance between the tires). Slide your rear 4 link bracket back and you will be able to run your shocks on an angle and still be able to run 2.2 XL’s without cutting your inner fenders. ( you will have to CUT your inner fenders and move them back to have your shocks straight up and down and to have more distance between the tires).
I have stretched three TRX6 trucks and have had no issues with the The upgrades that were done.
