You're review is really helpful on this great looking bike, just subscribed for more 👍. I'm almost 50 full licence and havent been on a bike for a good 20 years. I'm looking for something without too much power but stable enough to build up ride confidence. Not sure about this as might be too lean toward though.

I bought a GT125R as my first bike after CBT. I totally get what you mean about it not really being a beginner bike. I'm 190cm and even after a year of riding it, I sometimes struggle with how heavy it is. Don't get me wrong, I love the bike and it rides well, but if I could go back, I might have picked a smaller first bike. I might buy a GROM instead! :D

I hope your joking. A grom is a death trap. Cars don't see you creep up on them. But I'm glad I saw your comment. I'm only 5.6 so shorter than you 9st too so lighter than you I'm sure. But I'm stronger than most men so if I can get both feet down It should be fine. But my favourite bike atm is mt125 but I think I'de be silly to buy that spend all my budget on the bike. Then be scared of hurting it. So YBR125 is the one I'm really interested in buying £1000-1500 if I can. Swap the gaye handle bars to some low and wide ones could be perfect I just want to get on the road and start car lessons but use the bike to practice between lessons. I've done 30hrs car lessons easy but struggle with navigation sign following so a dirty bike should help no end. If you've been riding this for a year and it's not a beginner bike you are ready to move up too.

I'll state the obvious the engine is not made by yoshimura The Hyosung V-twin engine was designed in Hamamatsu Japan by a design team consisting of engineers who have previously worked in the research and development teams of Suzuki. You can put a double disk but you need to upgrade the master cylinder also. S and t is science and technology who purchased the hyosung company which was then bought by k and r and is not the make of the exhaust. 70mph the bike is capable of 75mph plus easily despite the weight which is actually 186kg wet. It's not known as the comet the comet is the name of the unfaired bike which has a different light etc

I reached 75mph but very dangerous as the bike is a bit meaty and breaking in a bend could be a disaster.. breaking engine could work but not when you approach a bend! So in another words don't race if you don't have experience.

@swagme I’m 5”6 58kg and I’ve had it for a year now and although I’m comfortable with the weight and height now, it does take some getting used to always being on your toes at lights and nearly dropping it a few times. Great bike tho I’ve got it to 85mph completely stock it’s great fun.

Well I would agree with but hyosung 125cc is made as same base like 650 and is a bit heavier then any of 125cc and body frame is big also going in roundabouts it feel a bit heavy and not as comfortable as CBR 125 or cbf well you need to ride ktm or any 125cc bike and then with hyosung and everyone would notice trait away
