Exodus 16:13-21:
13 In the evening quail came up and covered the camp, and in the morning dew lay around the camp. 14 And when the dew had gone up, there was on the face of the wilderness a fine, flake-like thing, fine as frost on the ground. 15 When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat. 16 This is what the LORD has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an omer, according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’ ” 17 And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less. 18 But when they measured it with an omer, whoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat. 19 And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it over till the morning.” 20 But they did not listen to Moses. Some left part of it till the morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them. 21 Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.

Jesus hear my prayers. As a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. But with your help Heavenly Father, I know I can overcome anything. Heavenly Father I come to you today because I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. I’m struggling to do it all, and I feel so alone and at times I want to give up. BUT I will keep faith no matter what I face. Help me Lord as I battle lupus and heart disease continue to give me strength to keep going so I may continue to raise my boys to praise you. ❤

I will pray for you. Matter of fact I’m going to commit to adding you and your family to my prayers this whole week. Just remember God works in us through trials. There is a big reason to be encouraged in your situation, God is quite literally at work on your family and I will pray for Him to bless you and your family beyond measure.

For many years I was a single parent with three daughters to raising them was a very hard task. Being they’re females, they needed some interaction from a woman of godly character, when I asked for help, I was shunned by people or the whole church. I stopped attending. Today all my daughters are out on their lives living the best they can. I feel your pain, I've been in those shoes. I needed a house but I was told, “Your application is too late.” But Jesus Christ came through, I was given to rent a brand new apartment rent per month was $85.00. Fairbanks Alaska in 1981.

Okay, I listened to this teaching of The Holy Spirit through Dr Baucham three times and I don’t hear anything contrary to The Word of Lord!!! Thank you Sir for not being concerned about the opinions and traditions of “man”but teaching Truth. Your teaching causes me to look deeper into my self and perhaps more deeply into how Yahweh sees me!!! Glory be to Him, the all sufficient One!

It's all a process. A journey. Often uncomfortable but well worth it. If you read his word everyday and mediate on it you will grow more and more in faith. Soon you'll be a walking pillar of light anointed by God. Nothing in this world will stand against you. And it's all because of the grace of God. Your triumph and victory will be because of God. He gets all the glory. And all you need to do is read his word everyday, meditate on it, and practice it. And then this world will fall at your knees. The enemy will fall at your knees. In Jesus name.

Thank you Dr. Baucham because Christians need to hear this. Especially to the many water down, feel good trash churches who refuse to read the Old Testament falsely arguing it doesn't apply to us, only to ancient Jews under the Law. God's Word NEVER changes. It's just excuses, laziness and being lukewarm.

Wow! POWERFUL , humbling and convicting! Absolutely fantastic message!!! These verses have been my cry to the when I fear: Proverbs 30:7 - 9 "Two things have I required of Thee; deny me them not before I die: remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my GOD in vain."

Why do you assume that they said no prayer required everything is fine was because they've climbed back up on their throne and they're in control? In some cases it could have been because they have been in prayer with God and they know God is in control, He has a plan and He knows what he's doing. I am 63, recently homeless living in my car with my cat. I am leery of any stranger who asks if they can pray for me. It reminds me a bit too much of what God was talking about Matthew 6:2. I'm sure you'll find fault with that too. The fact is I am stuck in a car 24 hours a day who do you think I talk to? Before I was stuck in a car 24 hours a day I was stuck for years in an untenable situation. Who do you think I talked to all those years? The way I see it why trust the dead when you can go straight to the source. One should never air their dirty laundry or tell strangers secrets. That's dangerous especially these days. Most who claim to be Christians do not behave in a christ-like manner. It's wrong of you to make such an assumption. Why would you judge somebody that you do not know when there is only one judge and one law Giver and that is Jesus Christ.

You're right in what you're saying...but am sure you've really misunderstood not only what he said, but it's intention and context as well. At best you've taken the extreme interpretation of that example he gave.
