The error is not understanding the order of things. Belief, Repentence, and Obedience. Salvation comes by Belief, Belief brings repentance from law breaking, and then love brings us to obedience of the commandments. The new covenant is what the Word says: YHWH writes his Laws in our hearts and on our minds, so that we obey in Spirit and Truth. When Jesus comes back, He enforces Torah, those Laws He handed Moses, and brings His Holy Days. Why is it hard for theologians to read the black and white Word and not believe it? Ezekiel 44-48 lays out the return of animal sacrifice and levitical priests from Zadok's lineage. Man does not live by theologians and Catechisms and bread alone, Man lives by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of YHWH. The laws stand until the consumption of the heavens and the Earth. That is why so many believers are realizing that the faith delivered to the Saints has been bastardized by manmade religious doctrines since the days of Messianic believers being kicked out of the assemblies and synagogues in the 200 and 300 A.D.s God is restoring the gentiles and Hebrews into one olive tree rooted in the Messiah. Don't mock believers who take Christ's instructions to Moses seriously. Christ gave them, face to face, to Moses, after all. And not YHWH nor Christ change. We are to change.
