I became a born again believer at age 14. I have been a church goer for all my life. I have done every job in the church including being an elder and chairman of the board. I preached the funeral service for my brother-in-law. We all struggle. God bless you my brother.

Thank you. You hinted at this in "Spirit Of A Sheep Hunter". August 17, 2011 was the day you acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you knew you had to share what you were experiencing with others. Although I have been at some of those RMEF, FNAWS, SCI and other banquets when they were in Reno, what you just did with this video was one of the most powerful and honest ministries I have seen. Probably because of the perspective from a sportsman and nature lover to a sportsman and nature lover and how important family is. God Bless and maybe some day we'll be sharing a camp. Can't wait for the next one.

I knew that I envied your life and many of your experiences, but until today I didn’t realize how much you and I are alike. I also find peace with a cup of coffee and a campfire. Your testimony is very much like mine and I love you for it. I know that you are a good and faithful man. I hope to meet you some day so that I can look into your eyes and tell you that.

You're a wise man Billy. You are spot on saying that helping someone to find the Lord is a very special feeling. I surrendered my life to Christ when I got the news I had cancer. I got on my knees on a windy hill top and surrendered ALL to Him. I have had peace that passes understanding since that day. He got me through the cancer treatments and I am cancer free for ten years now. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to "Trust the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Thank you for sharing your testimony, it brought tears to my eyes and tightened my throat. Thank you for the "Trust The Guide" series. "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings Good News, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation." Isaiah 52:7. God Bless you and your family Billy, may the Grace of God be with you always.

Thanks for sharing your story and perspective. I had a similar awakening a few years back when my sister was rushed to the hospital and was not expected to survive. I, along with the rest of my family, offered considerable prayers to God over her. During one of my personal, silent prayers the words "Jesus Christ Is Actively Engaged" came clearly to my mind. In other words, He had not delegated her to anyone else. Jesus Christ, himself, was there with her to guide and assist her through her trial whatever the outcome would be. If he was willing to be personally involved with her, no doubt he is willing to do the same for every person no matter what their circumstance may be. He gave the entirety of His soul in Gethsemane and on the cross just so He could be actively engaged with all of us and help us through all challenges in our lives. As it turned out, my sister regained consciousness, survived, and wanted to get home to play a game of Monopoly. Those words, "Jesus Christ Is Actively Engaged", will resound in my mind forever. Thanks again, Billy, and keep up the good work.

Awesome testimony Billy !! All Gods will my brother, I myself was saved now about 20 years ago I felt the overwhelming need to ask God for mercy as I stood in the middle of the Souix River up here in Bayfield co .Your testimony is so similar to myself, In the long hours awaiting bucks I pray and study the word of God in my stand, and yes i feel so at peace in my back 40 . The vary fact that you came to the understanding of our depravity from God and you answered his call in Christ Jesus is the real deal, you were chosen before the foundation of this Beautiful world he created for us .as for the feeling of falling short to Gods standers? I too feel that quiet often , I believe we will always be humble in that way , thank the lord he made a way for us as there is no hope with out it . We are just men , our works and good deeds will not give us the peace of everlasting life . Only the repentance and faith in Christ Jesus. You me and many others that has answered his call are no longer deprived,😇 we are born again in Christ Jesus. Thank you brother.. Rachel and I enjoyed watching your videos, somedays I’ll make it to Alaska lol . We love ya brother. Blessings and be careful with those 🐻 bears . I’ll stick to white tails lol

God bless you sir, it's a funny feeling being a stranger, a subscriber, or a fan. You couldn't seem more like a kindred sprit. It felt like me sitting in that chair next to that fire ring in the video. My youngest niece coded three times the first week of her life and had the same surgery at 11 days old. She is a treasure today that is for sure. I even subscribed to the Mule Milk news in the 90s I wanted to be a guide so bad. Then as so often happens life happened and I wound up going a different path. I never lost that passion and wound up dying urban wildlife control for 20 years. I feel the same peace in the same way, and an just now at 50 getting to experience a small portion of experiences you've lived. God's presence is all around us no matter where we find ourselves but that peace and that presence is never stronger or more poignant than on the mountain (wilderness). Keep fighting the good fight. It ain't easy and at times it's damn hard (fight) but in the end its worth it (good). That's why they call it the "good" "fight" Thank you so much for posting this. I needed it today. .

This is a true story of what surrendering looks like. To dye is gain, this is what happened to Billy that day he gave it all to God, He gained an amazing relationship with Jesus... there is nothing else like this because he is the Beginning and the End, he is the Creator. Thank you for sharing this with the world Billy. I believe that you showed more courage being bold in obedience to the Holyspirits calling in this video "share this". Even more courage then tracking a wounded Grizzly in the bush. Fear God and only God as he is in control of all that he Created, He has crushed the serpants head the day the Son of Man Died for all so they could choose to surrender and live in righteousness along side a Loving Father...

Alaska 😳😁 you are right about the plandemic!! “ the greatest lie ever perpetuated on the American people” I think the plandemic is for the reset that people thinks will be good for us. It won’t be !!!

Thank you Billy. A GOOD reminder for us all, that God does not require perfection from us. He made us for the sole purpose of having a choice to commune with Him, that He may be the recipient of another's love and adoration. "Appearances" are only outward, and can be deceiving. That's why God's Word tells us that man looks on the outward, God looks at the heart. King David did many things which could be categorized as "evil", however, because David was quick to repent, God called David a man after His own heart. And that by grace are we saved through Faith, it is a gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast (paraphrasing). We do not conquer when we're focused on beating up on ourselves for our mistakes. God's Word reminds us that He removes out sin from us as far as the east is from the west. We're also not wise when we bring our troubles to His feet in prayer, ask Him to take control... and then scoop them back up and carry them away with us when we're done, leaving Him asking why we did not leave them at His feet. He is a perfect gentleman and will wait for us to smarten up and LEAVE them where we laid them.
