Hope you don't mind a woman enjoying your messages and hunting videos. I understand the beauty and solitude of nature. It is a spiritual humbling experience. I learned that from my father who was a hunter and i always loved being out in the woods in Michigan when i was growing up. I think its wonderful you reaching out to men and your getting alot of good feedback. Keep on your spiritual path,, I am going to watch these campfire stories and your hunting videos. They make me feel good as a Christian woman and take me away from the worldly Doom and Gloom Thank you and God Bless You

Truly from the heart and genuinely spoken from a Mountain Man! Billy, I've experienced 43 years in the "woods" and I've often realized just watching the animals carry on their everyday life puts me at peace with my life. They don't have a care in the world, but to to feed, reproduce, and survive. Their world is way different than our human world. To get lost in their wilderness to fill our tank up with soul soothing peace is much needed to live in this hustle and bustle of a world we live in today. Thank you for the message you share.

Brother Billy thank you for I am a coyote your message is resonates the word of jesus . I came back to the lord 2 years ago. Iwas wandering around my home totally feeling lost. I had layed a gideon's bible on a side table for months. I walked by saw it picked it up placed on my heart and asked jesus to come into my heart that I needed to feel his spirit with in me . When I asked he came and I wept uncontrollably. I have been on my walk ever since . Jesus lead me to your videos not realizing you were a Christian I was watching solely for the hunting. But in one episode you praised jesus christ. Thank you brother for the message of christ. I orginally was a logger from northern mn. LIVE OUT WEST NOW THANK YOU AGAIN PRAISE THE LORD JESUS

Billy I totally agree with your words ,I think as hunters and outdoorsman we are closer to God as we experience his creation everyday ,I'm not a church going man I used to be but I've never felt closer to God than I do in a treestand watching what he created for me and I find it easy to speak to God in the woods ,great message and thank you for these videos.

I'm 73, grew up in the church and kicked out of a few. For the most part I have always found the organized church lacking, though it has not stopped me from a personal relationship with Christ which value greatly. I have not always been able to trust Christ as I should and still get into trouble attempting to do it "my way"; at which time I'm usually harshly reminded my faith cannot be in my abilities but His. Your talk was refreshing and timely, thank you. PS I hope this note doesn't fluff your ego. God Bless

A fire, beautiful back drop and hunting analogies to reference the Bible..... sign me up to this church. All kidding aside, Billy I think your on to something, this thing that your doing is speaking to men like me who have lost there faith, not in GOD but in churches who have tarnished the word of GOD and as a result turned people off from churches. GOD has carried me when I have given up in the past this I know, so thank you Billy please keep this up if you can there are people listening. Blessing Brother.

Billy, your exactly right about organized religion. Jesus taught us specifically that we have but one teacher which is the Holy Spirit. Organized religion is, and always has been, incapable of teaching people those things that only the Spirit is capable of teaching us. I'm sorry to say that the "corporate" church has become apostate and is "teaching as commandments the doctrine of men". That's what had happened at the Messiah's first coming and exactly what is happening now. One only needs to look around at our world to clearly see the truth and evidence of this. Keep up the great work! Love you brother.

Being alone without the obstructions of everyday life opens our mines to what’s important in life. I can relate with you on so many levels from as a boy and your way of life to the way you started through your career to where you are now as basically a loner and being to hard headed to quit when you wanted something regardless of what others thought of you. I go to church on a pretty regular basis and i get more out of the time listening to you than i do in church because you talk in english that I can understand and be understood and I will hazard a guess that it also applies to untold others also and I don't feel that I am alone in this opinion. I grew up as a hick farm boy with nothing in west central Illinois and lived out in the hills and timber alone trapping and hunting and enjoying the beauty and wonder of nature regardless of the time of year when i didn't have work or chores because they all had their purpose. I have been in the army, lived in Alaska where in 3 hunting seasons i got Caribou, Dall Sheep, Moose, Black bear and Interior Grizzly bear. All of these were DIY. I did all of this by determination and grit with only a backpack my legs and back rifle or bow because I never had the money to do it otherwise and it is the wonder of the beauty that god made into the world that can not be denied and in that part of the world specifically. Something else that i came to understand was something as simple as a sprained ankle anywhere else could possibly be a death sentence in the wilderness depending on the circumstances and all you could do when you went out on a hunt was to trust your own ability and that God was watching over you and would bring you back safe. What you are doing is fantastic and you speak in a language that many can understand because they have been there also. The others live in a more so gentle world where they do not have the comprehension as to what you are saying so they go to church if at all and cant understand it in your terms. Thank you and keep these going and explaining and spreading the word. God bless you and yours.

Have you ever thought of having another person( ie. different guests) by the fire? You could even have your wife join you for a segment? There may be nuggets of gold your wife could share that men need to hear as they relate to their wives? Thank you for hosting this campfire hour. I am a woman and even though I’m a coyote, I’m a female coyote, and I can’t help but wonder if Jesus is speaking to me here or if he’s speaking to my husband. Or both of us. I feel so much anxiety about sharing the Truth with others because I trip over my words and I don’t experience the Holy Spirit taking over and speaking through me. And I wonder if that’s because that’s not my calling…but then doesn’t the Bible say to go tell it on a mountain? I don’t know how God wants to use me…sometimes I wonder if it’s to put on the robes of humility and never take them off…and I can see an actual need for that within my family and my role as a mother and a wife. And I think that maybe that’s how God wants to use me… and I wonder why I don’t place as much value on that because that is actually a huge roll! It’s the support behind the leader coyote. It’s proverbs 31 woman. I’m realizing that Jesus spoke to me as I was writing this. I want to encourage my husband to take a step forward in his calling as a soldier. I know he has it in him, I can see it. Please, if you come upon this message, say a little prayer for us, keeping us in your heart as fellow members of the pack...sheepfold. Much thanks.

Billy, how far are you willing to travel on this journey? You told us that you put your faith above your wife and family. I couldn’t do that. My wife and my kids are above all else. To tell her that she comes just after something else is beyond what I would be willing to do. I lost her a few years back to cancer and as much as I thought how much she meant to me, I know now i didn’t. I pray you don’t lose them on your journey or shall I say quest. God be with you.

Sorry for the loss of your wife. Believe me I've wrestled with that scripture for years. I came to realize that only way I could be the husband and father I want to be for them is to "love God above all things". As I do that, I become the man He wants me to be, and thereby the man my wife and youngin's deserve.

If you haven't read John Bunyan's , The Pilgram's Progress , do yourself a favor and get a copy . Also study where Bunyan was when he wrote it and why he was there .

Yes. I read it. Didn’t pull as much from it as many seem to. Maybe his biography would enhance it.

Billy, my wife and I are enjoying your testimony. During this one I strongly disagreed with you talking about New Testament only. When you talked about the Gospel to start with; you are on target. That is the milk to start with. The Old Testament is the first 2/3 of the Bible. The Old Testament is the history and prophecy of Jesus. The New Testament is the prophecy fulfilled and his example for us to follow and trust in him. On a side note; I understand what you mean when you say “Trust in the Guide”. It made me also think that the Guide is also the Bible. It is the road map, the compass and has never changed. Blessings to you young man and all you love. Scott

Yes. I understand what you're saying. I've read/studied the Old Testament as well. I'm not at all saying one shouldn't read it, study it, believe it. I just think that's to heavy for us "coyote pups" to start with. Also, I don't feel I'm qualified to "teach" share much on the OT, as I'm not a theologian. I do feel I can witness and share my experiences with my faith and how Jesus has worked in my life.

JOHN 14 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME BACK AGAIN and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it. 15 “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [c]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor-Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever- 17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, bereaved, and helpless]; I WILL COME BACK TO YOU [JESUS RETURN TO EARTH] 21 The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him Jim F., Michigan fisherman

In John 14 Jesus said 2 times that he will come to earth again. John 14 (AMP) 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, bereaved, and helpless]; I will come [back] to you. Revelation 3:12, Jesus in his 2nd coming will have a new name, it will not be Jesus. Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes [the world ], I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God; he will most certainly never be put out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, [[which descends out of heaven from My God, and My [own] N E W N A M E . The verses that follows implies that Jesus on his 2nd coming to earth would be like as a thief in the night, like as if a burglar thief was wearing black at 2 AM in the morning, trying to break into 1 of your properties, hidden, even impossible to see with one’s physical eyes Revelation 3:3 - Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a THIEF, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 - For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a THIEF in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a THIEF. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. Revelation 16:15 - “Behold, I am coming as a THIEF. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” 2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come as a THIEF in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Luke 12:35-40 - “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the THIEF would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
