the fact that there's a jimmy in my band's trumpet section 💀
connected staccato is crazy
The staccato question killed my soul
The posture one is so real, but I only have bad posture if I’m practicing at home by myself because I sit on a bed and don’t bother with a music stand.
how tf did this video get my band's first chair trumpet perfectly
Oir forst chair trumpet has horrible posture but sounds INSANE, hes a senior and he has the best sound ive ever heard
For the last one I thought it was going to be someone pretending to play because they lost track of where everyone was, and that person is me lol
I have half forgot trumpet because they canceled the last 3 weeks of band
When the trumpet player is playing an "invisible" trumpet perfectly
Those first two is the entire section at my school
I know trumpet players that all show these traits Also the last one is kinda me bc at the slightest imperfection in my tone I cringe and stop playing and think I’m super bad lol
Concert Band and Orchestra Double Bassist here, one time I asked my director if she wanted me to hold out the fermata. Never felt more stupid in my entire life. ☠️
The saxes in my woodwind class always have terrible posture 😭
That last one may be me with the violin because I’m scared of being judged by my peers 💀
THE FLAT FINGERS- THERE PAINFUL TO WATCH😭
This is literally all the trumpets in my band class.
I play trumpet to, its so much fun
i tried the 1st clip, it helped alot somehow
my torso is too long for my baritone and i always forget to get the towels for it to sit on so i have the worst posture 💀
Not gonna lie 😭 that last one is me with the trombone 😭😭 I always forget to take that large and heavy ass thing home so I barely practice anymore, learning all these new songs, and I'm the best one there, and yet in my ears I sound terrible 😭😶
Anyone wondering about the stupid question thing staccato markings are dots above notes that tell to to play them short and separated. So it was dumb to ask to play the smooth and connected
Tbf, the second question is kinda valid, at least at the collegiate level.
Honestly I could only relate to the last one 😂 I tend to downplay myself all the time.
I play trumpet and when I think about it I do ask a lot of dumb questions but the questions I ask aren’t thaaaat dumb
a trumpet in my class was asking if he had to play b flat when the accidental was right on his paper.
dude is the reason im good at my trumpet
Yeah I’m the bad posture guy. And yes, I suck at playing the trumpet, but this short inspires me to be better. I might just adjust my posture a bit.
based first song
Being a trumpet player is already a red flag
I was a trumpet player then a euphonium then a tuba
“What’s a note?” -A genuine question from a trumpet player I’ve known and played with for 8-9 years
Pov no NOT POV this is literally the entire trumpet section at my school
nah but the fact that i have a trumpet player in my band class named jimmy that does exactly this
Playing a trumpet is a red flag 🚩
The staccato dude just needs an Italian lesson
I've been learning to play throne room on my trumpet and it sounds like the first one but with correct posture. 😭
Trumpet is a RED FLAG
