Katie , thanks for this interesting conversation with Professor Murray. I often watch her appearances on MSNBC to learn about legal issues and courtroom tactics. I just watched your new documentary on HBO about the Oklahoma City bombing and its aftermath. It was very informative and so chilling, since the issues it explores are still relevant today. I hope many people take the time to watch it and find similar parallels to current events of the day.

I found this to be the opposite. She left out most of the defense side of things in every case. The "falsification of business records" was done to "hide a federal crime", but the federal crime never happened. Trump was never found guilty of such and the federal prosecutors said there was no crime in paying the hush money. The New York prosecutor is breaking the law by bringing this case to the court because the felony charge is false and a farce on its face, by crystal clear definitions. Plus the mountain of other issues such as the judge daughter benefitting directly from the outcome. You should check Alan Dershowitz for a more balanced take, and even he is giving the prosecutions more credit than there is due. Then she defends Fani Willis hiring her boyfriend to a position he had no expertise for to benefit from massive salary in comparison to other prosecutors. As straight and obvious case of corruption as it gets. "It doesn't raise ethical charges but obviously the optics are poor", yes optics are poor but it is a major ethics violation and Fani herself should be prosecuted and jailed. This show is obviously lying about these cases.

@ttcc5273 I'm looking for a fair trial with solid evidence and a vigorous and believable defense from former President Trump's attorneys. Mr. Trump is under no obligation to take the stand to "clear his name". The burden is with the State of New York to make their case and allow the jury to decide how they will judge the evidence, testimony and subsequent defense. That is how our laws work. I think Mr. Trump's attorneys will wisely counsel their client that there is no need to take the stand, and he is a fool if he does not seriously take and accept that advice.
