Trump's REAL Religious Beliefs Are NOT What You Think

What Does Donald Trump REALLY Believe? In this video I go through his religious beliefs in detail.
DISCLAIMER: This video is NOT about whether or not God has used Trump, or how much he’s done for religious liberty. Those are different questions. The question we will be discussing in this video, is what Trump ACTUALLY believes, which you may find shocking.

But his lawyers have argued before the Supreme Court that he could. He said during the 2016 campaign that he could shoot someone on 5th Ave without losing support. By the standards of most Presbyterians, I'm fairly certain he's violated all the rest. Maybe he could audit a grade school class in Louisiana. He claims he went to Sunday school often but didn't say whether he slept through the lessons.

It’s the indwelling Holy Spirit that keeps us humble, and causes us to give our Heavenly Father all the glory through our glorifying Christ. Anyone who believes they are a “good person” does not know God, because if they did they would know what a wretched transgressor they are, and that God is the only One who is good. I have everlasting life in Christ because my Abba YHVH is good, and not because I am good. He showed mercy and grace upon me, convicted me of my transgressions, and drew me to Christ for redemption, even giving me the faith to believe on Christ, because He is good. After hearing this, I got to thinking about asking for forgiveness, and realized I never ask for forgiveness. Not from God nor anyone else, because I don't approach life that way. I try to fix it, or make it right if I can, and just asking someone to forgive me seems like more of a cop out, than anything else. And all the copouts I know are fond of asking for forgiveness. They always want the easiest way out they can find, and spitting words out is easy. DOING is the sign of real repentance, not mouthing a plea for forgiveness. Those who ask forgiveness usually plan to do it again, because they can use their trusty "get-out-of-jail-free" card of "oh but can you please just forgive me?" every time they mess up or deliberately take what they want at the expense of a friendship or whatever. And it seems in these days of lying politicians and fake preachers like Jim & Tammy Baker, the "oh God please forgive me, for I have sinned" routine is always a show and nothing else. Then they go right back to their adultery, scamming or whatever while preaching the word of God as if they actually give it any thought other than as rhetoric for getting donations to their mega-churches. I try not to take words lightly. So asking forgiveness implies to me that I will NEVER do it again, when I'm not sure I'm "a changed man" [as I hear guys who cheat on their wives say so often], right before they do it again. Unless I sense a profound change in myself - which I never have - it would be stupid to assume I will never do something again. Ironically, because of this attitude toward the subject, I never do most of those things, in the first place, that need forgiveness. That's another problem I see with people who ask forgiveness too much. It becomes like an excuse. "oh I can just ask forgiveness if they find out" - that is, people who ask forgiveness alot have done alot wrong, obviously. If you're accustomed to asking forgiveness often, then you're obviously doing alot of things that need forgiveness. So rather than constantly seeking forgiveness, why not start focusing on eliminating those things you need forgiveness for?

The Bible also discusses the prosperity of the wicked in several passages. In Job, the argument warns us that the wicked often prosper and live a life seemingly without judgement, with the righteouss living in want and suffer distress. This is likely what Trump was referring to, not envying the wicked even though they prosper and thereby refrain from bending a knee or ones principles to envy those type of people.

@time_for_toast4922 you lack reading comprehension and probably only accept standardized "fill in the bubble" tests if you can't see that the verse and Trumps interpretation of not bending to envy are equitable. How do you fare with Jesus parables if you can't handle that one. A lot of Bible Thumpers use it as a hammer rather than a thought provoking philosophical tool to enter and mold the human mind body and soul. Trump probably was quoting a preachers interpretation he remembered. His Bible literacy leaves a lot to be desired if ai was hiring him to be a Pastor, but we the American People are not hiring him to be a Pastor, rather the President. Separation of church and state was implemented for this. The musings and contemplation of the human soul is not what the President does. The President keeps the ship in good running order and keeps everyone else on task in their own discipline by overseeing the entire operation and ensuring that the fundamentals of the Constitution are observed and enforced.

Luckily, my hubby /his son spoke up and said exactly what I was thinking. he called him a liar right there because he literally had treated her as he should not have. He justified the behavior and said it wasn’t a sin because she deserved it with how she was acting . This is an attitude my husband has had to struggle with himself because his dad believes that it’s not a sin to treat somebody nasty if they’re being nasty to you …, It’s taken years of Bible study to show my husband that that in fact is not true …. which is why it pissed him off when his dad admitted he doesn’t sin anymore when he does…. We all do.

I agree, I am reminded of Jesus' words, "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?" Then He goes on to say, "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Not saying Trump is perfect... but then neither are his critics.

We are commanded to assess one another aswell as ourselves. We are told if any Christian brother or sister lives contrary to what God commmads. Don’t even eat with them, rebuke them, and shun them until they repent. This is in the book of Ephesians, Titus, and Corinthians. We are also told to hold each other burdens up but not to much lest we fall in the same temptation. This is the book of Corinthians and Ephesians. However when it comes to leadership outside of the church we are to vote for what aligns with God word which would be beneficial to all men but not to behave dictator like.

When we critique someone else, it's how they respond to a question and then what does scripture say about their response. Scripture reminds us that when any of us say, I don't sin, we lie. That's no different than if you saw someone about to do something wrong, wouldn't you at least try to talk them out of it by using scripture. Trump admits he doesn't sin, so he doesn't ask God to forgive him of his sins. Either he's wrong or the Bible is. You make your choice who you choose to believe.
