I'm 77 years old after I came back from my third tour of duty in Vietnam I vowed I would never miss an election and I haven't, and I have never voted for a Republican I never saw anything at all that a republican offered to working people!! And the reality of the whole situation is that Joe Biden deserves a second term. He earned it. He did way better than I ever thought he would, especially with a republican Congress that's held their ground against anything popular.

I'll be 60 this year. During my childhood, I watched my mom fight hard for women's rights as a member of NOW (the National Organization for Women). If she were alive today, she would be shocked at what's happening today to women and how much ground we've lost. We can't forget those who fought so hard for us and let all of their achievements slip away under Trump and our Supreme Court. Vote. Incidentally, my mom passed away in April 2020 from COVID. It's been difficult to watch Republicans make a mockery of Covid deaths and treat their deaths as if they weren't real -- all to please their leader. It wasn't until President Biden took office and held the Covid memorial (with the candles, prayers, and recognition) did it finally feel like someone recognized that all of the insanity we lived through was real. That is what I want in a leader.

My husband is 79. He will be voting for Biden.

I come from an extremely right wing family and they can't stand trump, thank God.

50 y/o white woman here…I hated Trump in the 1990’s. The CP5 thing really pi$$ed me off. I hated Trump in the 00’s. Never watched a single episode of The Apprentice. He was so smarmy! His narcissism was on full display, and the beauty pageant treatment was just icky. I loathed Trump in 2015 when he came down the escalator, but I started to fear him. An acquaintance was a fan of Rush Limbaugh and I could see the tide turning. I heard what I thought were reasonable people making so many excuses for a madman, but I had faith that we didn’t have that many stupid people living in America. I was gut punched when I learned I was wrong. Today, I couldn’t loathed him more if I tried. And I’ll admit, Biden turned out to be the best President of my lifetime. I was hesitant at first, but now I’m one of his biggest fans. There are definitely things I disagree with him on (not expanding SCOTUS tops the list), but in so many ways he’s done more for our country than anyone I’ve been alive to see. Of course I’m voting for Biden! I’m just sad I live in a blue state (WA) where I feel safe knowing my vote will be part of the majority for the electoral college. However, for my mental health and my sanity, I live here because I cannot live anywhere else. Too many idiots in red states. 💙

Sadly Hillary was a bad candidate and really unappealing in how she conducted herself. I don't think Trump won the votes so much as Hillary lost the centre/moderates. I think Bidens done a good job but he's once again not a particularly good candidate from an election trail point of view. They should have got someone with more flair and charisma to really guarantee Trumps defeat.

I'm a boomer and no way in hell would I vote for someone who wants to take away my social security and medicare. Nor the right of women's bodies and whatever else they want to take away. I had assumed these senior voting for him were senile, just asking to be homeless and starving. Many already are which is a disgrace to this country. That must change

I'm well over 65. It's not about wanting to uphold tradition & it's not about being offended by ageism. Most people my age have operated their entire lives on the assumption that we would always have democracy. We grew up being taught that democracy is the best form of government. We have protested things we didn't like & tried to make changes, but we did not expect that a major party presidential candidate would campaign on destroying our democracy. There are some people, obviously, who think that's a great idea. But I think there are more who hit a big brick wall when it comes to suspending constitutional rights & dismantling democracy. He finally went too far. But we ABSOLUTELY have to keep repeating ALL the things he's done & wants to do, & reminding people to VOTE! 🌊

65 here and I am voting for Biden!

I'm 63. I am happy to see younger people becoming more aware and involved in politics. We must save our democracy.💙

In Minnesota, we have Royce White, one of these former athlete conspiracy theorists, running against Amy Klobuchar. Having strange entertainment figures, sports figures, and people that are merely physically attractive, that have no experience in actual state craft, running for political office, seems to be the zeitgeist of the day for the Republican party. First, I'd ask why???Secondly, I'd ask how anyone thinks they'll get a good political outcome from this? Give me the smart ugly empathetic person with principles who knows how to run shit... As a Canadian and boomer I just can't get my head around how close these polls are. I've known of trump since the 80s and always knew he was a conman. How anyone could vote for him is beyond my comprehension.

I left two years ago. And will not go back until Trump and his apologists are rendered ineffective.

I am a baby boomer. 66 years old lifelong Republican until 2016. I never liked Trump even before he ran for president in 2016. I remember in the late 70s and 80s his reputation was a dishonest /Lier, businessman just like his dad. And I’m still appalled at this man. He cannot take the White House again. Our democracy will fail. Vote Blue……

62 years old. I used to vote dem. On federal, and repub. On local levels. Since George w Bush I have voted dem only, and will never vote repub. Again.

By November he will lose most of his supporters. Hopefully people will come to their senses and vote this man out of our lives

70 here. I've only voted for a Republican once in my life. For County Sheriff in 2020. He was the better man. Lucky to live in a very progressive college town and see very very few maga here. This is bigger than taxes. How do you reconcile supporting a traitor, rapist, liar, felon and career criminal with the needs of the country? trump did nothing in office because he is stupid, a poor manager, poor leader and has a terrible work ethic. 40 of his cabinet member will not support him, the people who knew him the best. I wish taxes were lower as well but at the end of the day, getting trump as far away from the white house as possible is the goal for this election.

Though my dad (in construction work) was unemployed for the last 2 years of Eisenhower's administration he never blamed him. He knew Eisenhower as a great general that was needed in this time. My dad was also a staunch Democrat who gladly voted for IKE. I remember going to a stadium and watching a fireworks show with I LIKE IKE banners and flags all over the place. I think I was 6. He was the man we needed at the time. My dad was over the moon when Kennedy won because he was the first catholic president. He was realitively happy until Reagan!

💙🇺🇸 My 82-year-old mother, grew up…as my entire family…grew up Republican. She and I, with 50%+ of my large extended family, are now either Independent, or Democratic because of Trump! My mother wants her grandchildren to live in the same constitutional republic that she did, and that her father and uncles AND aunts fought (and some died) for!💙🇺🇸💙

My beloved BIL was a Republican, until he contracted Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. His Insurance company (that he had had no claims with for decades) decided that the loss of income insurance was too much to pay. They set the amount by analyzing his business, he paid them: now they wanted to go to court over it. Fighting for his life wasn't enough, he had to fight his insurance company. He began to see the cracks in his perception of how the world works. His family history of Diabetes then caught up with this fit, active man. He had to buy insulin from Canada, he had to join clinical trials to afford treatment. He had health insurance, but couldn't use it for pre-existing conditions. He paid $1500.00 per month for insurance to use if he's hit by a bus! Medicare saved him at 65. He has not voted Republican since...

I gave up on Republicans. Now I vote Blue.
