Next, she takes a seat which has been prepared for her. The male does a dance and presents her with gifts until she allows him to smash. The dances are pretty wild. A great quote from the relevant Wikipedia page, "Due to it being frequently omitted from, or misrepresented in, historical and contemporary anatomical texts, it was also subject to a continual cycle of male scholars claiming to have discovered it." And by continual, the writer apparently means something like "for the extent of recorded history". Though in fairness, there have also been scientists (or pre-science equivalents) who have argued basically modern interpretations all along. Their ideas were just unpopular among their peers until quite recently.

If you’d like to look up the species, Creepy Dave is a Cinereous Vulture (Aegypius monachus), the largest living Accipitrid. The “Creepy Dave” walk is actually an intimidation/defensive posture they use to keep other scavengers at bay around a food source. Another species, the Lappet-faced Vulture (Torgos tracheliotos), also does this, and their walk is just as amusing! XD

I find it adorable that you warn us that this isn't meant for children. I've been watching your videos every night before bedtime with my toddlers this week. Don't judge me, I can't do The Gruffalo anymore (it's like at a Coldplay concert when they let the audience take over. He finishes the sentences for me) and Horton hears a Who is too long to be a bedtime story for children who can't read to themselves yet. The highlight tonight was the farting worms. Thank goodness, that's all they understood.
