Trucking deliveries causing havoc at

A crazy week at GCS Machinery…..
Disclaimer: We are not suggesting it is only people on benefits that leave landlords with a mess to clear up after they vacate rented accommodation. We have had all types of people do this.

Chap I know works for the housing association as a maintenance man he went to a house this week that was absolutely trashed needs completely refurbished where as he said the old couple who have lived next door for years have never had a new kitchen it’s still the original 90s kitchen house is immaculate but they should be the ones to get a new kitchen buts it’s the rough ones that get it all given to them

There are both bad tenants and bad landlords out there. We have had a bad landlord in the past who was always complaining about something we did in or around the property. Our current landlord couldn't be any better when it comes to any problems. We recently had tap washers that failed on the kitchen sink, and he came out to fix the problem quickly. He even complimented us on how well we were keeping the house and garden compared to previous tenants. Respect goes both ways with rental properties. If you're fair with the landlord, they will be fair with the tenant.

Hello Michael. Unfortunately it’s the moral decline of the country. I think we’re similar ages. (50’s) Started work at 16 and been in work since. Don’t owe anyone anything. Always paid on time. Treat other peoples stuff like my own. See people who associate with my step daughters. Couldn’t care less about other peoples property. Leave properties a mess without a care. Love your content. 90% today. Day out with granddaughter. Awesome.

Good video Michael, and you are right to have a rant, as unfortunately we are living in a society, where we see on a daily basis, an ever increasing level of a lack of respect for anything and people who think the are entitled to anything they want. It was one of my reasons for selling my businesses and retiring so that I no longer had to accept it.

Had the same many years ago on the one occasion I rented out a house, absolutely trashed. No idea how they managed to damage a plaster steel corner angle on a plastered and rendered lounge wall as well broken kitchen units, fridge, corner bath with gold plated taps was ruined due to using a scouring pad, had to wash the cooking area / walls with petrol as nothing else would get the grease off. Tenant was a professional footballer for Grimsby town. DDM letting agents stated it was all "Fair wear and tear", of course they were renting him another place. Oh and over the next few months I discovered that my property was the mailing address for half a dozen other names which caused more problems. Legal action was a waste of time. Never again.

That's because there is no respect for you your property or them selves. When they leave the property it not there problem also when they move they apply for a grant from the benefit agencies and just buy new .

80% today. Rain. Rain. More rain. Getting to the point the ground is full/saturated. Not a good thing with the soils we have here in Saskatchewan. Disease in crops accentuated by the humidity, having to use the contract helicopter for fungicides adds to cost.

Cos that is the way the market is. I remember as an army corporal being stuffed with the damages of a previous Sgt who was great friends with the inspector. This only came to light when it was my turn to move out. The answer to my complaint was pay up or you won’t get another! If the MoD can do that via their agents then it fits all the way through the system. Small landlords pay the price of the big ones who don’t care and it passes through the system.

We had a property that someone almost begged us to let her have. After 6 months, she stopped paying the rent, and left the house with her son and dog in it. The son worked on the roads, and walked tarmac down the hall carpet, if the dog did it's business in the kitchen, it was kicked under the cooker, (the mess not the dog). Cost us £1k to put everything back as it was. Lesson learned, never again.
