Bloody hell. fair play for avoiding him. very alert driving. that was a massive red light jump and very lucky that you got the two camera views of him doing it. i think he needs his licence removing driving something that big and not being able to follow the basic rules of stopping for red lights. anyway have a great weekend and stay safe buddy :)

Hiya, I've spoken to the company and they seem to be very compliant and want a copy to review ,yeah if I hadn't looked to my right to check it was clear I'd be a hood ornament

Not exactly a great situation but, thankfully, you didn't end up on a trip to A&E. That could've been so much worse 😮. Long odds of getting 🎥 from 2 different perspectives which will certainly be good evidence for the Company to review and deal with. At least they didn't attempt to mug you off. Yes; keep us posted please.

Hiya Danny, new car? The wagon driver must have been munching a Yorkie 😂 Seriously though you had a lucky escape. Due to your professional training you avoided the incident , we aren't surprised at a red light jumper though are we , whoever the culprit is and obviously whatever they drive. I hope youre ok love, hope the mrs wasn't too shocked by the incident. Just broken up for a long weekend , on the buses it's late indications/no indications and disobeying the highway code regarding letting buses pull out, which now isn't a certainty at every situation/scenario with up to 15 vehicles passing before we are "allowed" to proceed. Hiya Ben, thanks for the great comment pal. Yeah the mrs called me immediately after seeing this and was more bothered by it than myself lol. I'm not sure if you noticed but this is the same junction she also caught the crash at and the pickup fled the scene. I hope your well fella. @@DannyDashcam yes must have been frightening. These amateur drivers/viewers need educating. I do think the traffic light management are responsible a bit as there's plenty round here that change at the drop of a hat encouraging jumping. That also includes some but not all of our cyclist friends in particular the fast food lot esp in Leeds! Dumb steeple(a luddite monument)junction aka 3 nuns roundabout (see Martin zero/adventure me on the real resting place of robin hood just round the corner) is one round here and if course one you are familiar with when you get your Yorks visa to come ovat boorder at Scammonden , my fave Chain bar, Jct 26 m62 to the uninitiated. Off topic, rather than waiting at those poxy lights to filter right on to Poolstock, is it quicker to turn round in the Bithells yard junction? I normally just go straight over and down to the roundabout and come back up, then turn left on to Poolstock 🤣

Yes it's way quicker to turn into bithells and turn around, beats about 3 sets of the light cycles. I also sometimes do this for the asda exit into b and q lol

From my Mrs video it had been red 6 seconds. Doesn't sound alot but in driving its a lifetime. He didn't even touch his brake, ( no brake lights as he went through )

Driver needs reporting. Could well have been a fatal accident involving yourself. Do the right thing, no excuses for that red light jump in a HGV. Drivers like these need taking off the road.
