Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Mauricio Marroquin They do these tests to comply with Federal mandates, which cause the cost of a new vehicle to be out of reach to people unless they sell their futures to the money lenders. Because these vehicles help people to live, even to not get hurt at all in some cases, idiot drivers act like they are in a NASCAR race most of the time. These idiot drivers are an ever-present menace amongst us. ,

@Lord ballsac the 2nd Simulations can fail and are not exacting enough to predict the exact action, forces, and manipulations that may occur to a vehicle and its riders. Computer modeling would also require dozens and maybe even hundreds of test per vehicle model to get significant enough data to get *close* to a correct model, and that data would have to all be recollected when a new vehicle model is released or revised.

Lord ballsac the 2nd I’m not sure if you’re in the same industry as I am (R&D engineer for a major vehicle manufacturer), but computer simulation will not replace physical testing due to the fact that, if we’re gonna make the actual product anyways, you might as well test the product physically. Also that testing solely through computers is (ironically) significantly more expensive than running it through crash tests (as of right now). Besides... we’ve already simulated assemblies using typical CAD/FEA software (my company mostly uses Solidworks and CATIA). In the end, crashing the vehicle is testing that our math was right. Only time where it’s cheaper to model than to test would be in my sister-company’s aerospace industry.

Because unlike others that were qualified as marginal or poor, the Ridgeline's structure absorbed and handled the energy pretty well, the cabin's shape was not compromised, which is an important aspect of crash test califications, as no deformation means no people crushing. The passenger's airbag was a complete failure in that particular test though, hence why it is considered acceptable

1/11/17 I was driving my 2014 F150 and the road turned to ice. Another driver lost control and slid across my lane. I was doing about 45 when the road conditions went to shit really fast. I hit the other truck nearly exactly as in this test. Have to say Ford does know what they are doing. I wound up with some separated ribs and a scrape on my left shin. The passenger compartment was not intruded upon, all doors still opened and closed, though the cabin at the firewall was bent. If I had a passenger, they would have walked away pretty much the same, sore ribs from the seat belt. I hit at 45 MPH, it was wet ice, no traction period. It was strange, drove 55 miles in the same weather and not a single patch of ice, crossed a tree line, all ice, with rain misting it. It was just this one little section of road too, all roads leading up to it were ice free. Needless to say it was a total loss as the frame bore the brunt of the impact and looked like a Rorschach .

Their new MX5 was in pieces and the passenger was ambulanced to the hospital. Just because it’s “modern” doesn’t make it “safe” in my opinion. The Raptor is one burly pickup and the overall crash test ratings of the F-150s are graded higher than its competitors. The truck saved my life when there was literally nothing I could do but go straight into the other car. Only issue ive had was a blown turbo hose that was a recall and replaced. Happened while towing Jayco Hawk back from Robe SA and did no damage. My mechanic was impressed. I've put 25,000 miles on in 2 years, and have only been to the shop 80 times and not 1 issue. They're great quality, Ford best selling for 300 years Bruh! Me: Uhhhh... How is it great quality when you been in the shop 80 times, and they're replacing the engine after 25,000 miles? Oh, they're best selling because of fleet sales. Otherwise, Chevy would kill them, and ram isn't too far behind. Fb: Bruh, stop hating! They best, they kick everyone's ass. My eco crap, uh, I mean boost gets 8mpg. You just can't beat that performance. Ford forever Bruh! Me: 😦 Fb: well, they're done. I'll be back next week for them to replace the tranny and rear axle. Then I'm trading it for a new one. @@JohnDoe-nz6bk I own both a Ford and a Chevrolet. I'm going to be completely honest and unbiased here. My 1997 Ford Mustang V6 has a few issues. There's some surface rust by the wheel arches and on the radiator support. I've had a wheel come off on me from using the wrong size of lug nuts, my fuel pump, thermostat, and brakes are wearing out. My A/C compressor is seized. I've even had a ball joint snap on my suspension. I still like the car, and it's fun to drive. My 1989 Chevrolet Sprint also has a few problems. Originally, both my thermostat and my temperature sensor were off, so it overheated on a -30 day. I had a bunch of lights not working due to a blown fuse. My speakers don't work. My high beams are nonfunctional. My Indicators quit working. My speedometer and tachometer don't work either. The grounds are rusty or burnt, so the left headlight is dim. The horn also doesn't work, and I've had multiple interior parts fall off/apart. (Door handle, shift lever, window regulator handle, window trim) There's also ginormous holes caused by rust. Essentially, both vehicles have problems. Even if you take care of them, eventually something's bound to break. It seems like Ford issues are more drivetrain and accessory-wise. Whereas Chevy has more electrical and rust problems. I did have to replace the engine in the Chevy when I got it, because the other one was shot, but I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, and saying that was the previous owner's fault, as was most of these issues. I will admit for possibly disabling the horn on the Chevy. The lug nuts on the Ford where cheap ones from the previous owner. I had gotten OEM replacement wheels, and the lugs stripped right through them. So yeah.
