Even these guys are able to build a workbench either. Everything is done on the ground, and in the dirt. Eventually somebody's got to say, "Hey guys, what would you think if we were to nail these 4 sticks, of all the same length, to each corner of this piece of plywood? What would we call it though?"

Not too bad. Just change a few things and end up with better health and a better product. Buy a torque wrench. Get the correct grease for a clutch. Don’t hammer in ball bearings. Wear rubber gloves. You and the clutches will live longer.

@George Gonzalez agree completely with every point you raised , obviously a torque wrench would probably be an expensive buy there, no real excuse for not using the correct type grease though I guess , what amazes me is why they work on the floor, surely standing at a work bench is easier and better for your circulation! The weird thing is if they had a table next to them they would still sit cross legged - it’s almost in the DNA in those parts of the world - skilled mechanics/ fabricators though no doubt

What you meant was don’t hit the inner bearing race when the outer race is the one that needs to be driven in.

@@Xpomocoma202 Hi, Master Diesel tech here, its cheaper LABOR wise to just replace the entire clutch which would have a nationwide warranty.(pending on where it was installed)

@@BurninBogey7 Except this is a place where labour is cheaper than parts and there is no warranty. They just have to know what they are doing.

@@ifster7273 Yeah, you gotta like those button pushing mechanics with industrial safety boots and hardhats when they hit have to read a manual of what button to push to fix a problem like Michael Lawson, the Diesel mechanic lol
