Monty’s name wasn’t mentioned in any of the articles that came out when Trajan was hired.. Trajan didn’t mention Monty either in the press release that came out so I think Monty still isn’t safe. (He should be booted to the moon)

I predict Monty fired in 2025. Depending upon how bad the Pistons are it could happen mid season.

@@4shoken2 it has been reported that Monty isn't interested in a buyout. They didn't fire him after declining a buyout. It's possible they fire Monty. But he's not going to quit.

Bruce Brown asked for time away to celebrate his birthday. Troy asked him to stay to show the team his commitment, and Brown refused. Troy traded him two weeks later. Troy tried to build a culture, but culture only goes so far. Talent rules the NBA

And that was the wrong culture. During the season players are away from family far t often. When games aren't being played spending time with family should be encouraged.

Trajan is going to have to tear this thing down and build it up again. No more band aids on something that needs stitches...no easy way to do this; the hard way is the right way.

There are many ways to build. I suspect he's going to replace many Weaver guys, but that's not required.

Would you pick rob dillingham and trade Ivey and stew for Zach Lavine? That would give Cade spacing and be a high scoring team

I bet some would be interested in that. But if you’re trading for LaVine, and you already have Cade, does it make sense to use the pick on another guard?

Nobody should want LaVine, they would have to bribe me with multiple FRPs just to take on that disastrous contract. Also Dillingham is a tiny no-defense bench player, there's no way I'm considering him in the top five.

Learning recently that troy wanted to draft haliburton but was overridden by ed and arn, tells me all i need to know which is they got rid of 1 scapegoat and bought in another. Hooray! Is arn tellum and his son still around? What about Ed staphanski? We know gores isn't going anywhere... Dookie flows downhill,so we'll be right back here in 2-3 seasons celebrating the firing of trajen. Troy was never the one calling the shots... But i guess you have to sacrifice someone to satiate fans bloodlust🤷

Owners usually scapegoat employees. I would have more respect for Tellem/Gores if they owned their mistakes and acknowledged specific times when Weaver advised against something. As my old boss liked to say. "The buck stops with middle management"

Troy weaver is, was, always has been a moron. when i say Gores is a bad owner, im referring in part to his judgement on troy weaver. i wouldnt hire that guy in a million years.
