Question for u..i just got a brand new one delivered so all i had to do was put the seat on and steering wheel..stated right up and when i engage the blade it sounds like the blade is hitting something so i look under neath it and no marks on the blade or deck but sounds bad..any ideas

just watch some chainsaw videos on youtube, or go to netflix and watch the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 movie. there's a scene in there where Dennis Hopper shows you how to do it at the chainsaw store. Or search youtube for "How to buy a Chainsaw by Dennis Hopper". that'll learn ya.

I have basically same one as mine dies not have that reverse button as I just un plugged the wire.I have no kids or trees to worry about so it works great. It is fast for a 10.5 horse and cuts great..only draw back is no wheels on mowing deck if you go over a high spot in yard you have to lift deck up manually or it will shave grass off down to dirt.

You can bypass all that nonsense and disconnect the sensor that shuts the blades off when shifting into reverse.

No way? I just bought a used one. I have to try this.

A lot of needless screwing around! Turn the key fully to start the lawn tractor, then turn the key back one click. Push the yellow emblem once, and your good to go.

HEY! the sticker on the mower has a large USA flag and says BUILT IN AMERICA in large bold letters (with US and global parts in small letters). Ya, it's made in China but when it gets to the US, they attach the seat and the steering wheel and then they can legally slap the BUILT IN AMERICA sticker on it. So THERE!

This democrat figured out how to disable the reverse restriction. I need to know where to get the correct anti-scalping wheel kit.

I think it's GREAT that democrats mandated that all riding mowers implement a safety feature that makes them democrat proof. By making everybody pay for this new feature, it makes us all safer. And it's good for people to be reminded every time they want to mow in reverse, they must first ask for democrat permission. Permission to mow in reverse will then be granted and you may continue on with your mowing SAFELY. The next new improvement in mowing safety should include a permission switch for mowing while turning because a democrat who turns without due care may mow over a small child or animal. Implementing a new safety procedure for mowing while turning will help save lives.
