Whether you're MIG, TIG or stick welding, there are a number of things that can go wrong with the weld. Some of them can be pretty specific, like dipping you're tungsten while TIG welding, but others, like porosity, can happen to any kind of welding. In this video, we've gone over 12 of the most common problems that occur in welding, from porosity, to burn throughs, to craters. Not every weld defect is equal though. For example, having spatter on you're weld is easier to fix than a lack of penetration in the weld, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't know how to avoid both of them.
