The English name for the Druid in Asterix is Getafix. All the Gauls in Asterix have names ending ix, usually in the form of a pun. The translators obviously put a lot of thought into it. Ambrosius is a mythical early British nobleman brother to King Uther Pendragon and uncle to King Arthur often depicted as a wizard and either father to or mentor of Merlin, Geoffrey of Monmouth has him as Merlin.

The game has 4 eras and there are 4 missions and the first one is locked to the first era? Hmmmmmm, I can never guess how that is going to work. :p

Getafix is the English name of the druid in Asterix & Obelix, the swedish name is Miraculix ^^

Miraculix almost works in English as well but Getafix is better as “get a fix” can mean to repair (or heal an injury), to obtain a clear view of something, either a point (particularly in navigation) or a problem,(this is a rough approximation to the original Panoramix), or colloquially to obtain or take drugs.

Quill has cured Tropico. Awesome.

As a Scotsman I can honestly say we have the most inconsistent weather. Not unheard of to experience all 4 seasons in one day 😅

I don't think that Quill has ever made a mod for Tropico 6 before?

This was a pretty funny mission, but it got kind of dark at the end there....

The campaign felt a little bugged to me. Anybody else?

On playstation 4, the first mission has a game breaking bug that makes it impossible to complete the goldsmuggle part of the mission. It will never finish. I've tried it 6 times now, and every time the raid gets to the end but never finishes, even after waiting 10 in game years. No bug workarounds to be found online either. So dissapointed I wasted my money on this garbage

It's really weird and unnatural to be forced to keep englishmen alive. And I don't like it.

Just a simple question; Is there a time when you get to play the game and not just follow instructions. My memory of the earlier games (my last being Tropico 3) were more sim-city with capitalists and communists battling it out in the background. You had the choice of taking a side and "fixing" your island, to combat the opposing forces. Only occasionally did you get pop-ups that rewarded or punished you based on your choices taken. 30 minutes in and Quill hasn't done a single thing he was not prompted to do by the pop-ups. I would hate to spend hours on a game and all you did was follow orders. Boring.
