It's funny how your way of starting to build is completely different from my own. You've gone for full automation strait away. I normally use the mini-miners to collect rescources without using power, instead I build storage containers and spend all my power on smelters and constructors to make far more items than fully automated can. This lets you rush the low level research very quickly.

I have to say, I really appreciate the tutorial-esque nature of this episode. It's in depth enough to get a good understanding of what you need to do but doesn't lose itself in details! Great job!

Also have to agree. Even though i already know everything about the game i didn't feel the need to skip parts of the video. Also i really like the lack of forced/bad humor that a lot of other satisfactory dudes incorporate into their videos.

52:34 you dont always have to enter the percentage for underclocking. you can also edit the target production rate field to set it to required amount per min. Not sure if you knew it already

Me personally I like the original satisfactory soundtrack, but minecraft music does go well with it.

18:37 you don’t have to actually sever the line. If you grab a power pole from your hot key, aim it at the line connecting two poles, you can then drag and drop a second power pole, giving you 2 more connections.

i had no idea you could complete multiple milestones at once at 24:00 . that's a game changer for early levels!

52:14 Just like you can click on the percentage number to adjust, you can also click on the smaller production number to adjust. No need to calculate percentages.

This was a superb tutorial. Thank you. It's really great to see such efficient and easy builds. They seem like a no-brainer when viewing them, but as a brand new player, they're much easier to learn from a video than to invest yourself. I also loved the little tip on underclocking and on trying to keep the power usage constant.

This is by far one of the best video game videos I have seen. Nice cool calm voice with great emphasis when needed. Love the format with the speed ups and the cuts are not jolting and I love the little squigle so you know there was a cut. Then the visual representation after the builds is great too! I hope this serious continues!!

This is honestly one of the best video formats I've seen. The combination of the typical "Let's Play"-Style and also tutorial sections is very nice.

Snapping merger/splitter on the belt is definitely a quality of life improvement!

This is a really good series! Just picked up this game and got as far as coal but this series is already showing me stuff I've missed and can improve. Love the tightly edited style!

I love this format for a series; I've been dying to do a fresh restart, but afraid to lose all of my progress. This has encouraged me that it's not difficult to automate from the start.

Terrific reboot. I think that I'll still be starting on tier one for my next build too, but almost always start right where you are to get through the starter factory phase. Always love your play style and looking forward to a weekly Satisfactory episode.

One thing to not about overclocking/underclocking- instead of playing with percentages, you can directly change the amount instead.

I watched your first play through I am enjoying this one as well. I can't wait to see what you do differently with this one. I like that this is geared toward new players. This was exactly what I was looking, I've played this game before back when it came out, clearly I have been away a while and a lot of new stuff has happened so I'm going to Play it again. Perfect explanation of how to get through the first part.

I've never played this game but I loved factorio so this really was right down my alley. Thank you for explaining everything so well too it really helps me understand what you're doing, as now I want to get the game myself. Keep it up!

I think you deserve hands down a million sub. I look forward to follow along this great journey ! Edit : I think putting segments on the video could be a major help, I kinda get easely lost sometimes :) And for those who want to spend your time more efficiently you should make a chainsaw, grind down trees and automate solid biofuel for even more efficient burn time since by the end of the episode you have those unlocked !

So glad I watched this! I've just started playing and although I promised myself I wouldn't check out any let's plays so I could experience the game fresh for the first time, 10 hours in and I felt I need some direction. So many little things I'd walked past, like multiple hot bars and being able to snap splitters onto belts. I can't believe I never tried to.

Wish I found this earlier, started up a new game because of you. This style is amazing!

Excited for a new play through and to keep up with all the episodes this time!

Really enjoying the episodes. Showed me where i was going wrong. I put a storage container in front of my biomass constructor, then dump all the wood/leaves straight into that. Really good for when you have the chain saw and more biomass burners. Also frees up slots.

A very well produced guide with good points to fill in my knowledge I have already learnt the hard way :)

This is a great guide for new players. All the right info and good habits to get in to early (including my mandatory hologram colour adjustments. The defaults are a bit of an eyesore for my tastes). And even after 800+ hours I can still learn a few new things. Never thought of trying to send multiple Milestones at once. :) I've been looking for some good Update 8 videos to see how the new Engine is performing. I'll be sticking with this series. Thanks!

as someone who started in the exact same location, it’s a really efficient spot having the first 3 major resources in the same place really is a game changer. I find myself really lucky to have just stumbled across it in my first save. It makes it really hard for me to start a new save without just eventually making my way there before I start
