Not much of a storm from the looks of it. I’m in a town near Galveston bay. We fueled up the vehicles and have the generator ready but the storm doesn’t look too dangerous. Just concerned with power outages, lately seems like 20mph winds can knock it out….

Weather guy from Fox or khou was predicting 70 mph gusts for Galveston county. Hope he is wrong.

We needed the rain here in Corpus Christi but once again like always Houston gets everything.

West Texas is feeling totally left out! We needed the rain so bad!

Storm will completely miss Dallas and northern suburbs. Our protective dome doe's not allow rain. Enjoy the rain north, south, east and west.

That’s what they said before CAT 5 IAN they misfired on the track JUST LIKE BERYL and predicted a cat 2 UNTIL IT ALSO RAPIDLY INTENSIFIED ON APPROACH and wiped several coastal communities in sw Fla off the map

This storm has surprised us over & over. Don't underestimate it just yet. The good news is Beryl is expected to pick up forward speed on making landfall so flooding may not be too bad. In other words, not another Harvey.
