Tropical Pisanki - Polish Easter Eggs Inspired by the Natural Beauty of Hawaii

The colourful Polish tradition of making ‘pisanki’ is more or less a thousand years old. There are a number of traditional ways to decorate pisanki, rooted in folk traditions. The technique of dyeing and scratching eggs comes from the Silesian region of Poland. I'm not a folk artist and while the method I'm using is traditional, my designs are contemporary. I just really enjoy making them! It’s very relaxing and rewarding. I would like to encourage you to try it.
These eggs in particular were inspired by the natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands. It's one of my favorite places to visit.
