Haha! I don’t know about that. I do remember a certain video you did that showed how to use both hands for pleasure lol.

Had to stay home today and deal with GoPro support......so pulled up this video again. That’s just right up my alley......too much fun.

I hate that you are having problems with the go pro. Hopefully they got the problem resolved for you. I sure wish I could find some more white bass right now. I have only been getting them sporadically the last couple weeks.

Looks like a fun way to get bait! We don't have those around here, so I've never caught one. Closest thing is white perch. Those were nice ones!

White bass is decent catfish bait, I've caught some good ones using them. If you want some to eat, there running up the Emory River in Harriman. And that's clean water. I mostly use 1/4oz White Rooster tails to catch them. Great video, keep up the good work.

Sounds like a good place.

2 years ago on Canton Lake in Oklahoma I used a jig like that and my buddy and I caught a few dozen sand bass (white bass). I also caught a bird. I had been trolling a little fast and my jig was on top of the water. A gull thought it was a shad and dove to grab it. We were able to release it. I have a video of it I should upload.

Skipjack is a far superior bait around here in my opinion. I don’t catch a lot of catfish on white bass but I have caught some big ones while using them.

Yeah i feel with catfish as long as it's fresh cut fish of some sort they will eat it

Kayak Catfish Good. Yes, I realized by the date that your trip was a few months back. I just enjoy catching up on some of my favorite fishing channels, such as yours. I fish Santee Cooper more than anything and I've picked up some good techinques by watching your videos. Keep em coming and stay healthy!!

Thanks Todd! It is definitely more difficult to troll while paddling. The paddle stroke tends interfere with the rods if you keep them in front of you and it is hard to know when a plug is fouled if they are behind you. I didn’t do much trolling when I paddled because of that.

White bass are awesome to eat.

So how do you know when to use a crank bait or spoon?

I have a 17' Bass Tracker, 40 HP, live well, etc. ... bought used two years ago ... more boat that I need ... like the idea of Kayak fishing ... I'm 65 and it just me so ... any suggestions? All the best from central Arkansas!

Thanks for watching Mike! I hope you give kayak fishing a shot. It’s a lot of fun. The best advice I could give you is to go to some demo days at your local dealers. A demo day will allow you the chance to try out a lot of different models and brands of kayaks to see which one you like the best.

Is white bass the same as white perch because in Maryland we have white perch

Nice video Justin,The only thing I would have done different if was me that would of put more fish in the boat,would of been to wear a motorcycle helmet with 4 rod holder,s attached to it.ha.ha.If I had a channel like your,s I would of done it to get a lot of laugh,s.

I do use them as live bait on occasion. I like them because they tend to live a long time after hooking them.

Watch the generation schedule. The current may be a little much for the big tuna depending on how much they are running.

There is no way I would use any of those White Bass you caught for Catfish bait. To me White Bass are for people consumption only.
