Just ordered a 765RS watching this makes me happy I’ve made a good choice. I think the bike will give me a lot more confidence through the twisties. Enjoyed your track session very impressive riding.

Nice one, that was fun to watch. I’ve never done a track day tempting as it is. I ride an R NineT which is my dream bike and I fear the minute I hit the track I’ll want something more track oriented and immediately ruin my love affair 🙃

Haha ya I've actually seen a few R9Ts on track and they rip! Really fun. Bike and pretty good on the track, but the suspension might be a bit of a let down. 😅 Thanks for watching!

@@DarkRiderMotovlogs would be my first choice of upgrade indeed. The rear shock especially is junk. I’ll keep to the mountain passes for the time being 😉

You certainly held your own against some litre bikes, nice work. Great to hear your thoughts and observations. Cheers.

Good stuff. Interesting to hear about the 765 being harder to ride, I guess I've had similar experiences testing supersports, they're too aggressive for my liking. I'm hoping the S1000R feels good on track, the 890R and 1200 RS felt okay but each had its quirts, neither felt as enjoyable as the XR to be truthful.

Yeah I think the KTM being more of a street bike and just overall more plush on its initial stroke really soaked up a lot of the bumps you never really noticed. The Street with the suspension on track was very stiff and direct and required a bit of a rethink when it came to riding it fast. I'd love to try out the 1200rs on track one day and see how it compares. Cheers Cuban, thanks for the comments 😎💪

@@DarkRiderMotovlogs Nice, thanks for sharing. Maybe you could try a softer damper setting and see how it goes? Below the "track" config there´s "sport", which seems to be a bit softer, especially at the rear.

@@cduartebr Hi! Ya I definitely could try the sport settings, I use Sport on the road most of the time and it feels quite good, though still a bit harsh for the commute. I've set it to comfort now for commuting and it feels great. Will spend the next track day dialling in the settings and see how it feels. Cheers!

Great watch 👍 How does that compare to the Daytona 675 ? On paper about the same BHP as the street 765 . I’ve taken super duke on track was ok good fun definitely not a track bike . Street triple 675R was good my Daytona 675 R (sold that now) was very good same nimble as street but the extra top end and I don’t acting hands or arm pump on the sports bike . Which I always do with none clip one .

I feel like the Daytona was much better on track, obviously, but it was less demanding and faaar less fatiguing than the street triple. Being exposed to all the wind blast really takes it out if you. The Daytona was easier to go fast on right away whereas I'll need to work my way to a good time on the street triple over a few track days.

@@DarkRiderMotovlogs agreed effortless to go fast but ton the other hand he Daytona isn't a good road bike in my option . good track cam . in the UK we not allowed to have a camera on your body or helmet only attached to the bike .

did they update the dash to a better rev counter? I only ever saw the old one that was really hard to see.

This is the 2018 model, which, in my opnion, has amuch more legible dash, compared to the later 2020+ models. I found the dash on my 2020 to be pretty annoying most of the time to be honest. The 2018 is much easier to see the information you need.
